Memory loss and changes in judgment may make it difficult for someone to recognize when they are too hot, dehydrated, or in need of help. Taking a few simple precautions can make a big difference in keeping your loved one safe. ❤️

The Alzheimer’s Foundation of America shares these five important tips:
💧 Encourage frequent hydration
❄️ Keep the home cool and comfortable
🧢 Dress in lightweight clothing and limit time outdoors during peak heat
👀 Watch for signs of heat-related illness
📞 Check in regularly and have a plan for staying safe
