SLOW DOWN & STAY ALERT!

As our kids start heading back to school this week, it’s time for all of us to slow down, pay attention, and be patient. School zones, buses, crosswalks, and neighborhoods will be busier than usual.

🚌 Watch for school buses — stop and give buses plenty of room.
🚸 Watch for children — kids may not always be paying attention to traffic.
📵 Stay focused — put the phone down and keep your eyes on the road.
🐢 Slow down — especially in school zones and residential areas.
⏰ Be patient — give yourself a little extra time and don’t rush.

Remember, getting there a few minutes later is always better than not getting there at all.

Let’s work together to keep our children, and everyone on the road safe this school year!

What a fun way to kick off the school year! Over the weekend we had a great time at our Back-to-School Supplies Giveaway, helping local students get ready for a successful year ahead. 🚌

There’s nothing more rewarding than investing in our children today and building a brighter future for tomorrow! 🌟

We were excited to hand out school supplies, goodies, and plenty of smiles along the way! 😊🎉 A huge thank you to everyone who came out.

Coffee, Cops & A Side of “Can I Take Your Order?”

A big thank you to everyone who came out to our Coffee with a Cop event at McDonald’s at 405 S. Fry Road! ☕

Deputy Phillips had a great time meeting so many of you, sharing conversations, answering questions, and enjoying some good community time.

And, of course, what’s a visit to McDonald’s without putting in a little work? Deputy Phillips even got the opportunity to hang out at the drive-thru window, helping hand out some breakfast items to customers!

We truly appreciate everyone who stopped by to say hello and spend a little time with us.

A big THANK YOU to everyone who came out and joined us for “Lunch with a Cop” at Jaggers Restaurant! It was a great afternoon filled with good food, great conversations, and an opportunity to connect with members of our community in a relaxed setting.

Events like these help strengthen the relationships between our deputies and community members. We appreciate everyone who took the time to stop by, ask questions, share stories.

What an incredible night!

Our deputies and Alumni had a blast, from serving fresh hot rolls, to line dancing alongside the amazing staff at Texas Roadhouse at this year “Tip-A-Cop” event. Got to meet so many wonderful members of the community while raised funds for a great cause, Special Olympics Texas.

THANK YOU to everyone who came out, donated, volunteered, and supported this event. We also want to thank Texas Roadhouse in Cypress & Texas Roadhouse in Katy locations for being such an incredible partner in helping make this event a huge success.

TONIGHT’S THE NIGHT! Thursday, July 23, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at both locations, Katy & Cypress Texas Roadhouse, 20840 Katy Fwy, Katy, TX 77449 & 22020 West Rd, Cypress, TX 77433 for a Tip-A-Cop event you won’t want to miss!

Deputies will be helping serve dinner, greet guests, and raise money for Special Olympics Texas.

Every tip and donation goes directly to Special Olympics athletes right here in our community.

So come hungry and let’s make it a night to remember for a great cause!
