Many hospitals have staff trained in decontaminating patients that arrive at their facility, but how many are prepared to decontaminate a service animal?

Decontamination of service animals has been a focus in our regional trainings. During a recent session at St. Joseph Medical Center, we were able to integrate the process into our training.

Thank you to Elizabeth Rothrock for helping coordinate the training and for having a service dog be a part of the class!

Interested in having First Receiver training at your facility? Contact John Wingate ([email protected]) or complete the request form at https://www.setrac.org/register-for-training/.
