Twenty-five years ago, September 11, 2001, changed our nation forever.

Today, we pause to remember the lives lost, honor the courage and sacrifice of the first responders and everyday heroes who ran toward danger, and recognize all those whose lives were forever changed by the events of that day.

A quarter century has passed, but their stories, their sacrifice, and their memory endure.

May we never forget those we lost. May we never forget those who served. And may we never forget the strength and unity we found in one another.

The RHPC Symposium planning committee has been working overtime putting the final touches on this year’s event in Galveston — and we can’t keep it to ourselves anymore.
Over the next few weeks we’ll be introducing some of the speakers who are going to make October 14–16 unforgettable.
First up: Dr. Monique Anderson Starks.
Dr. Starks is a Duke cardiologist and co-principal investigator of RESTORe-CARE, the first-of-its-kind U.S. study putting drone-delivered AEDs on live 911 cardiac arrest calls. Her work is literally changing how fast we can get a shock to a patient when every minute counts.

❤️ HEART OF THE MATTER IN ACTION! ❤️

Our team had a great time at HARRA's Party in the Park at Memorial Park on August 8th, hosted by Houston Chevron! We taught hands-only CPR, shared how to recognize the signs of stroke and heart attack, and reminded everyone why calling 911 fast can save a life.

A huge thank you to Houston Chevron and HARRA for having us out to connect with the community. Every hand that learns CPR is a life that could be saved. 💪
