We serve! Houston Lady Lions connects volunteers to the community through meeting humanitarian needs, encouraging peace, and promoting international understanding. The organization met just twice before having enough ladies to apply for a charter, and within 2 months received approval for a charter, elected a full slate of officers, focused on three humanitarian projects, launched a social media strategy, and begin planning its first fundraising event. We have a Twitter handle at @HLadyLions, we have hosted a discussion group at LinkedIn under our name "Houston Lady Lions" and we have a Google + page, in addition to this Facebook site. Look for great stuff from the Houston Lady Lions, and come out and join us!

Mission: We exist to empower and inspire service through projects, fundraising, and awareness.

Streets Of Surrender Street Ministry

Beautiful Blessings.🙏

We just want to say thank you to Katherine Pechler and her wonderful family with Urban Covey for the donation today of 25 dozen fresh yard eggs for the Ministry. And also to our Lady Lions Family Debra Marshall for all the fresh produce and milk that's gone out this week. The produce was well loved at our Cleveland Camp Trip this past Wednesday. These people are family to us all now and have really been a blessing to the Ministry and to the community. These donations not only will provide food for about 100 tacos for the Hobo Breakfast in Galveston tomorrow but also supplied much needed groceries for a large number of families as well. We love yall and thank yall SO MUCH!!!
Our friends at the Cleveland Homeless Camp send their Thanks and Love along with the families of Galveston County...

Great Career & Resource information for our Veterans! 🇺🇸

Veterans in Houston, before your big unemployment check runs out, try to utilize these resources before it's crunch time. It compiles many work programs and networking opportunities.

Note: Each program has its own criteria on what types of veterans can receive services. Also the pandemic may have changed certain operations for now. Contact info may have to be Googled on your own unless you can’t find someone in particular. If it doesn’t apply to you, please pass this info onto a veteran that may need it.

It is wonderful that the Houston Lady Lions are honoring the youth by naming some as Youth Ambassadors. That is a really underutilized designation that all clubs should consider. You really succeed at engaging our youth and promoting the spirit of service among them. Keep it up and keep leading the District in service!
