Houston Lady Lions connects volunteers to the community through meeting humanitarian needs, encouraging peace, and promoting international understanding.
A fully autonomous geographically-based organization that is officially recognized as part of Lion's Clubs International. As such it operates under an umbrella 501(c)4 organization.
We serve! Houston Lady Lions connects volunteers to the community through meeting humanitarian needs, encouraging peace, and promoting international understanding. The organization met just twice before having enough ladies to apply for a charter, and within 2 months received approval for a charter, elected a full slate of officers, focused on three humanitarian projects, launched a social media strategy, and begin planning its first fundraising event. We have a Twitter handle at @HLadyLions, we have hosted a discussion group at LinkedIn under our name "Houston Lady Lions" and we have a Google + page, in addition to this Facebook site. Look for great stuff from the Houston Lady Lions, and come out and join us!
Mission: We exist to empower and inspire service through projects, fundraising, and awareness.

We just want to say thank you to Katherine Pechler and her wonderful family with Urban Covey for the donation today of 25 dozen fresh yard eggs for the Ministry. And also to our Lady Lions Family Debra Marshall for all the fresh produce and milk that's gone out this week. The produce was well loved at our Cleveland Camp Trip this past Wednesday. These people are family to us all now and have really been a blessing to the Ministry and to the community. These donations not only will provide food for about 100 tacos for the Hobo Breakfast in Galveston tomorrow but also supplied much needed groceries for a large number of families as well. We love yall and thank yall SO MUCH!!!
Our friends at the Cleveland Homeless Camp send their Thanks and Love along with the families of Galveston County...
