Today marks 25 years since September 11, 2001.
We will always remember the nearly 3,000 lives lost, honor the heroes who ran toward danger, and reflect on the courage and unity that followed one of the darkest days in our nation’s history.
For those who lived through that terrible morning, we remember exactly where we were when the world changed.
A quarter century later, there is a new generation for whom September 11 is history, not memory. It is our responsibility to ensure that they know the story of that day, remember those we lost, and understand the courage and sacrifice that followed.
25 years later. We remember. We honor. We will never forget.
