Congratulations to Orlando Sanchez on a well-earned primary runoff victory.
Log Cabin Republicans spoke with several of the candidates who ran, and Orlando stood apart for his deep knowledge of the county, his plan of action, his long record of service to the community, and most importantly, his proven ability to win and deliver results.
What we saw last night, was that the Democrats are continuing down the path of ultra-progressivism and ultra-radicalism. After 8 years of Lina Hidalgo, we must remind voters that Harris County's problems are not simply a failure of personal incompetence, but a failure of progressive ideology. Voters want experienced and effective leadership focused on the future of our county.
We are proud to have stood with Orlando from the beginning and look forward to supporting him in the general election!
