Our town and country has a rich history of quilting circles, quilt raffles to raise funds, and the original American Flag was in fact a quilt. Quilts speak to rural nature of our community, they were used to mark family history, political movements, and even now they are making a resurgence in the younger generation reminding us that the past still holds reverence in the future.

So Miss Tricia has printed off 250 quilt blocks, take them design them in the red, white, and blue in whatever medium speaks to you. Return them to the library and Miss Tricia will assemble the “community quilt” to display.

Blocks are available at the circulation desk!
