The Ocean View School District was first established on coastal farmland in 1874, making it one of the oldest districts in Orange County. Today, the K-8 school district provides services to a student population of 8,000 students, 1,000 employees, and 14 elementary and middle schools, in addition to two presch
ools. OVSD serves all or portions of the cities of Huntington Beach, Westminster, Fountain Valley and Midway City.
