The Hal Rogers Parkway between the Manchester Exit 20 and Elk Mt. Exit 28 will be closed tomorrow, Tuesday June 2nd between the hours of 0800 AM and 0600 PM for bridge inspections.

Please use caution as many vehicles will be traveling the detour route of South Highway 421.

Today, volunteers and firefighters teamed up to provide and install free smoke detectors for local families, helping make homes safer and giving residents greater peace of mind.

Smoke detectors save lives β€” and partnerships like this show what can happen when we come together for a common cause.

Hyden fire department is selling this 1988 international S1900 walk-around wet rescue. The truck holds 1200 gallons and has plenty of storage space. This truck does not have to be sold to a fire department. It can be sold to private citizens. If interested please contact assistant chief Stewart Napier by messaging our page.
