đźš” 100 Deadliest Days of Summer Traffic Enforcement
Our officers are participating in increased traffic enforcement efforts throughout the 100 Deadliest Days of Summer, a period between Memorial Day and Labor Day when traffic fatalities traditionally rise across Idaho and the nation.
As part of these ongoing efforts, officers are conducting aggressive driving saturation patrols focused on dangerous driving behaviors such as speeding, distracted driving, following too closely, reckless driving, and other violations that contribute to serious crashes.
Our goal is not simply to issue citations—it is to encourage safe driving habits, reduce preventable crashes, and keep our roads safe for everyone traveling through our community this summer.
We ask all drivers to do their part:
đźš— Slow down and obey posted speed limits
📱 Put distractions away and focus on driving
🔵 Always wear your seatbelt
🍺 Never drive impaired
🤝 Be patient and courteous to other motorists
Whether you’re heading across town or across the state, every safe driving decision helps protect lives. Together, we can make this summer safer for everyone.
