Greetings SD Families! If you have not completed your registration for the 26/27 school year, doors will be open today until 3:00 PM if you need help registering. All returning and new students must register. Please bring any required documentation. We will also have one more day for kindergarten jumpstart tomorrow, but it is not too late to sign your incoming kindergartener up! Looking forward to another great year. We are gearing up for an amazing 2026-2027 school year in Decatur Township!
You can register your new or returning students online now at https://www.decaturproud.org/updates.

All schools will be open for in-person registration tomorrow, Thursday, July 16, 2026, 9 AM-12 PM or 4-8 PM. For new students (and returning students with updates), please bring your child's birth certificate, proof of residency, vaccination records, and parent ID. This is an excellent opportunity for assistance with the registration process, drop off of required documents, or to ask questions!

Sharing robotics with our community and representing Stephen Decatur at STEM Night was a blast for Mr. Low!

The turnout was great, there were so many cool activities available, and it was a really fun night. And the food trucks were amazing!

6th grade students celebrated the end of testing by spending their science class in the garden. Students enjoyed planting seeds, bird watching, bug catching, and spending time with their friends in the fresh air and sunshine. We are of all the effort they have put in during this testing season.

of all our MSD Decatur Township Elementary Robotics Coaches today as we held our 3rd annual Elementary Vex IQ State Qualifying Competition at Stephen Decatur Elementary School! Also proud of all the teams that came, the students’ hard work and effort, the parents and guardians that support them, and the coaches that make this possible throughout our great state!

A huge shoutout and thank you to all the volunteers that made this event possible, and thank you to all the administrators and our assistant superintendent and superintendent for coming out to see all the excitement!

Have a great long-weekend everyone, you all deserve it!!!

Our Winter Concert was so wonderful, and it was fantastic seeing the community come out to support these terrific performers!! Thank you Marlena Haefner for putting on such an enjoyable concert!

December 2, 2025: Due to inclement weather, the MSD of Decatur Township will have a 2-Hour Delay today. If you depend on bus transportation, this means you should be prepared for bus pick-up two hours later than the regular time. All schools will begin their day 2 hours later than the usual start time.
