Turn your idea into a thriving business — right here in Jacksonville!

WHO: Jacksonville’s community members with disabilities & entrepreneurial dreams!

Presented by the City of Jacksonville Disabled Services Division, Mayor’s Disability Council, and Jacksonville Small & Emerging Business (JSEB).

WHAT: An info session for a free, eight-week program designed to help you build a strong, sustainable small business. Through workshops, one-on-one mentorship, networking, and accessible resources, you’ll gain practical tools, connect with mentors who understand your journey, and leave with an actionable business plan to make your vision a reality.

Weigh in and help steer the data gathered to influence state plans and initiatives! We at CIL Jacksonville encourage individuals with disabilities to provide their feedback to develop the state plan for independent living let their voices be heard.

At the Center for Independent Living Jacksonville, we love celebrating the people behind our mission—and today, we’re bragging on one of our incredible Community Work Incentives Coordinators (CWICs)!

For more than 13 years, she has helped individuals with disabilities understand how employment may affect their Social Security benefits, health insurance, and other public benefits. Through accurate information, benefits counseling, and ongoing support, she helps consumers make informed choices about employment and their journey toward greater financial independence.

It can mean a second chance at financial independence!
It can mean feeling productive and accomplished again!
It can mean rebuilding confidence!
