🇺🇸🇽🇰Today, we proudly join our friends in the Republic of Kosovo in celebrating Liberation Day—a day that honors the courage, sacrifice, and determination of those who secured Kosovo’s freedom and laid the foundation for a democratic and sovereign nation.

The United States and Kosovo share a strong and enduring partnership built on shared values, mutual respect, and a commitment to peace and security. The Iowa National Guard is especially honored to stand alongside our Kosovo partners through the State Partnership Program, where decades of collaboration, friendship, and military cooperation have strengthened both our forces and our nations.

Congratulations to the people of Kosovo on this important anniversary. We look forward to many more years of partnership, friendship, and shared success.
