Richard Burkert, former president of Heritage Johnstown, will present an illustrated history of the Slavic and Hungarian immigrants that came to Johnstown from 1880 to the early 1920s.

Award-winning storyteller Alan Irvine brings stories of frontier life in the late 1700s. Step back in time for tales of the French and Indian War and Pontiac’s War, raids in the night and the struggle to survive, Virginia’s Invasion of Pittsburgh, the Whiskey Rebellion, and Pittsburgh’s rise as the Gateway to the West.
