Late start for Kotzebue students and staff (JNES, KMHS, ATC, STAR, DO).

Staff to arrive no later than 9:30 am; Students arrive at 10 am.

Breakfast will not be served.

Who’s ready for some 1A Northwest Arctic Basketball?

UPDATE: The NWABSD 1A Tournament tips off Wednesday at 1:00 PM, with doors opening at 12:30 PM at KMHS.

Tournament passes will be available at the gate:
• $40 – Adults
• $30 – Students
• Free – Elders

We’re excited to welcome teams, families, and fans from across the region for a great week of competition. Let’s pack the gym and show our support — be loud, be proud, and most importantly, be positive.

JNES, KMHS, and ATC are closed today, Monday, 2/23/26, due to safety concerns for people walking.

All after-school activities remain canceled.

The District Office will be open. The District Offices will be slow to respond as some staff may be out due to snow accumulation.
