💚 What a wonderful day of giving back!

A big thank you to Compeer Financial for volunteering at both our warehouse and Kane Street Community Garden, and to the amazing kids from the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater La Crosse Onalaska for helping us tackle the weeds.

Their hands may have been little, but they made a big impact! 🌱 Before pulling any milkweed, they carefully rescued five caterpillars and moved them to another milkweed patch so they could continue to grow. 🐛

💚 Looking for a meaningful way to give back? We could use your help!

🌼 Love gardening? We're looking for volunteers to help care for our flower and pollinator beds at the Kane Street Community Garden. Whether you can help once a week, several days a week, or gather a few friends for a relaxing morning outdoors, we'd love to have you! It's a wonderful way to enjoy nature while helping create a beautiful space that supports pollinators and provides fresh produce for our community.

🚚 Prefer the warehouse? We're looking for drivers and riders to help pick up food donations in our box truck in the mornings. No CDL is required—we'll provide all the training you need. Drivers must have a clean driving record, and all applicants must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

📦 We're also looking for regular warehouse volunteers to help sort, organize, and assist with daily warehouse needs. Warehouse volunteer hours are Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–3:00 PM, and every shift helps get food to local families, children, and seniors.

No matter how you choose to volunteer, you'll be making a direct impact on neighbors facing hunger throughout the Coulee Region.

Our Kane Street Community Garden distribution is happening today from 11:30 a.m.–1:00 p.m. Everyone is welcome to stop by and enjoy fresh, locally grown produce, lovingly cared for by the dedicated volunteers and gardeners in our community.

💚 It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of one of our longtime Kane Street Community Garden volunteers, Yee Vang Lee.

Yee gave so much more than her time. Through countless hours spent tending the garden, sharing her knowledge with others, and always offering a kind heart, she helped make the Kane Street Community Garden the welcoming and thriving place it is today.

Yee's kindness, generosity, and love for the garden will continue to live on through the people she inspired and the community she helped grow.

Our thoughts and heartfelt condolences are with Yee's family and loved ones. Thank you, Yee, for everything you gave to our garden and our community. You will be deeply missed. 🌱💚
