Some quick tips about our Literacy Night coming up this month! 😊😊😊

1️⃣ We will have a book swap open for all students and parents! 📚 So bring any books you’re done enjoying, and you’ll be able to swap for “new” books from others at the event. 😁

2️⃣ Your student should have received a Reading Bingo card & instructions (it was stapled to the Literacy Night invite). Spend time together these next couple weeks completing the reading challenges on the Bingo card! Have fun! Cards with any bingos on them can be turned in at Literacy Night on 9/22 for a small prize AND be entered into a door prize drawing for bigger prizes! 🤩🤩

Books books books! 📚📚📚

That is the condensed summary of our next event, Literacy Night on 9/22!

We will have Second Flight Books, the public library Bookmobile, and maybe a couple other organizations at this event. We’d love to see YOU there! 😊

You can participate in all the book giving as well! We will have a book swap at the event, open to students AND parents. See the flyer below for instructions. 😁📚😁📚😁

Students also have chances to win prizes by filling out their Reading Bingo card this month. (Reading Bingo cards were sent home with students last week so check your kiddo’s backpack, if you don’t have one for your student please let me know).

All completed bingo cards will be put into a door prize drawing for chances to win bigger prizes!🎉🎉🎉🎉

What a scrumdiddlyumptiously fantastic time we had this Tuesday at our Back to School Celebration! We had just under 200 people there for games, shaved ice, prizes, candy, dinner and a whole lot of fun! Thanks for making our first event of this school year amazing! 😁

Just some quick tips for our Back to School Family dinner on Tuesday, 8/25!

🎫👀 Be on the lookout for golden tickets! We will have golden tickets hiding at the event, and even more chances to find them in the Chocolate Room (see below). Turn in any golden ticket to the Chocolate Room for a prize! 😁

🍧🍧 Gibson’s Shaved Ice truck will be at the event, so it might be smart to bring a little cash if you want any.

🍫🍫 Visit the Chocolate Room (AKA Music Room) for more chances to find a golden ticket. For a $1 donation, you can pick a candy bar. If it has a golden ticket on it, you can turn it in for another prize. If not - you still get a candy bar!

😁😁 Be sure to stop & play all our Charlie & the Chocolate Factory games! Let’s have some fun & win some small goodies too!

Our first family event of the school year is coming up on 8/25!! Our school-wide book this year is Charlie & the Chocolate Factory, so be on the lookout for Oompa Loompas, golden tickets, candy, and other things in our Wonka-themed games! It’s a carnival, but Wonka style! 🍫🍭

Gibson’s Shaved Ice truck will also be in attendance! 🎉🎉🎉

What an amazing way to end our family dinners for this school year!! We had about 160 people attend our event and get to visit/pet a variety of animals!! Great big thanks to all for a fantastic event! 😁😁😁
