Partnership in Paws! A Special Thank You to the Lampeter Elementary PTO! 🐾

Yesterday, we celebrated a major leap forward in funding for our successor dogs, and today, we're so excited to shine a spotlight on the incredible group who made it happen: The Lampeter Elementary PTO!

After hearing the news that we were starting our search for SSD Gabby's successor, our PTO stepped up in a massive way. At their last meeting, they demonstrated their unwavering commitment to our students' well-being by generously voting to provide the full $6,000 to fund our next facility dog. This means we can confidently proceed with bringing another furry companion into Lampeter Elementary School to support every child.

This extraordinary act of kindness underscores the powerful impact our PTO has on our school community. Thank you, Lampeter Elementary PTO, for your incredible partnership and for ensuring the Paws Program's future is bright!

Today begins our official “Successor Dog”
Campaign. SSD Eagle (Hans Herr Elementary School), SSD Gabby (Lampeter Elementary) and SSD Monarch (Martin Meylin Middle School) are all starting to think about retirement in the future. In order to make sure that facility dog program does not have a gap in services, we are beginning the process of looking for their successors. We have some big paws to fill. 🐾 With three dogs 🦮🦮🦮eyeing retirement, we have a big goal for fundraising. Each successor will cost the program $6,000 for a total of $18,000 needed to be raised. We are beginning with a request for donations to help cover the costs.

*the optional transaction fee can be adjusted or overridden, if desired.

Other methods of donation can be dropped off at any of the school offices and directed to the L-S Paws program. Checks can be made out to L-S Aevidum with a notation that it is for the paws program.

We are very thankful for all the love and support shown to the pups in our program from both our school community and beyond. ❤️

Book Swap day 1 of 2 at LE for 1st and 2nd Graders!

Reminder that the Book Bonaza is Thursday 2/12 for LE students to purchase leftover books for 25 cents each. They can spend up to $3 (12 books total). Don't forget a bag, they'll need it for all their new reading treasures!

Grab your holiday spirit! 🎄The holidays are almost here, and our PTO is spreading some cheer! Our annual Winter Wonderland Shopping event gives students a chance to pick out special gifts for family and friends, and we need your help to add to the magic!

Please join us Wednesday 11/12 for our next PTO meeting where we’ll be discussing the wide variety of tasks needed to make Winter Wonderland successful and fun for our students. Please refer to Mrs. Henry’s ParentSquare update for more details on the meeting.
