October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month, 💜 a time to raise awareness of the realities of abuse.

Domestic and sexual violence are deeply connected and often overlap, leaving lasting physical, emotional, and psychological impacts on survivors. With support from partners like The Shade Tree of Las Vegas, SAFE House NV, and Safe Nest TADC, survivors in Southern Nevada can access safety, resources, and compassionate care.

Together, we can break the cycle of violence and ensure no survivor stands alone.

Hope can only grow if we show up for one another. ✨

We're proud to have recently been featured on News3 Las Vegas and to have had the opportunity to share how community members can become Signs of HOPE volunteers.

Our volunteers help with a variety of tasks, including office work, outreach events, crisis hotline calls, hospital visits, and work with the RISE anti-human trafficking team. We are especially looking for multilingual volunteers who speak English, Spanish, Mandarin, or Tagalog.

All volunteers must be 18 or older, live in Southern Nevada, and pass a background check. 🔗 To apply, simply visit sohlv.org to learn more.
