The City of Las Vegas Strong Future Technology Training Center program is hosting APEX 20 NEXT GEN, giving youth ages 13–18 a hands-on chance to engineer, build, code, test, and race their own creations 🛠️💡🏁.
Join us for seven Saturdays from October 3 to November 14, 2026 (no session Oct 31) at 1001 N C St, Las Vegas, NV 89106 📍.

The City of Las Vegas’ ReInvent Schools Las Vegas (RSLV) program has teamed up with the Department of Public Safety (DPS) for the Catch with a Cop program! DPS officers are stopping by all 16 RSLV sites to spark energy, encourage fitness, and build strong, positive connections with our participants. This week, Detwiler Elementary welcomed Officer Zvulum during the Safekey program, where he introduced students to the fundamentals of baseball and created a fun, engaging experience for everyone involved.😎

In YDSI, we know there are so many barriers that create high absenteeism rates, and part of our initiative in addressing chronic absenteeism means connecting families with resources in many ways! We have been busy at our schools, kicking the year off right with impactful resource fairs to ensure families meet with their community resources and leave feeling supported. Our resource partners always show up ready to help our schools and their families get what they need, from school supplies to free eye exams!
