After 9.5 years of dedicated service to her community as a Fire Communication Specialist, we say farewell and congratulations to Nelly as she begins her new journey!

Throughout her time at the center, Nelly has shared her knowledge, experience, and wisdom with countless trainees and coworkers. Her willingness to teach, guide, and support others has made a lasting impact on our center and on the dispatchers who had the opportunity to learn from her.

Beyond her experience and expertise, Nelly brought positive vibes and great energy to the center that will definitely be missed. 💛

Today, we join our brothers and sisters at the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department in mourning the loss of one of their own.

On behalf of everyone at the Combined Communications Center, we extend our deepest condolences to the officer’s family, friends, and every member of LVMPD during this incredibly difficult time.

The sacrifice made by those who serve our community is never forgotten. Please know that you have our unwavering support as you honor the life and legacy of your fellow officer.

Our thoughts are with all who are grieving. 💙

Our team was invited to help try to break the Guinness World Record for the most people performing CPR in 12 hours. This initiative, led by the Las Vegas Raiders and Intermountain Health was to promote hands-on CPR training. Such a fun event.. with free snacks and swag. There is time left… go practice to save a life! ❤️
