Celebrating Our Communication Specialists! 💛🖤

Tonight, we had the opportunity to recognize and celebrate several of our Communication Specialists who received awards for their hard work, dedication, and service to our community. We’re proud to share a few photos of our team members who were in attendance for this special recognition.

While the work of a 911 dispatcher often happens behind the scenes, their role is essential. They are the first, first responders, answering the call during someone’s worst moments, gathering critical information, coordinating resources, and helping keep both the public and our first responders safe.

Congratulations to all of tonight’s award recipients! Your dedication to the profession and the community you serve does not go unnoticed. 🚒🚑☎️

We are proud of you and proud of the work our Communication Specialists do every single day. 💛

For the third year, members of the Combined Communication Center came together to climb alongside our fellow first responders in remembrance of those we lost on September 11, 2001. 🇺🇸

This year, as we mark the 25th anniversary of 9/11, we are honored to continue this tradition and climb in remembrance of the lives lost, the sacrifices made, and the courage shown that day.

25 years later, we remember. We honor. We climb.

Never Forget. 🇺🇸

25 years later, we remember. 🇺🇸

Today, we honor the 2,977 lives lost on September 11, 2001, and remember the first responders, public safety professionals, and everyday citizens who answered the call during one of our nation’s darkest days.

As emergency dispatchers, we also remember the voices behind the radios and phones. The communications professionals who remained in their center, coordinating resources and supporting responders amid unimaginable circumstances.

Twenty five years later, we continue to honor their courage, service, and sacrifice.

We will never forget. 🇺🇸🚒🚑🚓

Our team was invited to help try to break the Guinness World Record for the most people performing CPR in 12 hours. This initiative, led by the Las Vegas Raiders and Intermountain Health was to promote hands-on CPR training. Such a fun event.. with free snacks and swag. There is time left… go practice to save a life! ❤️
