We LOVE working with the United States Post Office in Laurel during their annual food drive. The postal service mail carriers always go the extra mile to gather the donated items and get them back to the post office for our staff and volunteers to pickup! This year was NO exception and we will be able to help a large number of families with what was collected! Thank you US Postal Service❤️

Both our soup kitchen and food pantry are closed today because of the weather. While we don’t make these decisions lightly, we encourage folks to stay home and stay safe. We will be back open as soon as we can!

This is happening right now! Come see us and help us stick our pantry! So many families struggling, let’s make a difference!

We invite you to join us Friday, Nov. 15, at Grocery Depot in downtown Laurel to stuff a bucket truck full of nonperishable items for the Good Samaritan Center Laurel. We will collect items from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. Stop by and help us stock this food pantry for the holiday season.

This Friday, our biannual food drive with the will occur from 8am-5pm. Here’s the list of items that our soup kitchen and our food pantry need. Did you know that we serve an average 285 hot nutritious meals for lunch every weekday? Did you know that we help hundreds of food insecure families with groceries to take home from our food pantry? Help us help others! Stop by Walmart and let’s FILL UP that police truck!
