9/1/2026 - Texas Eastern and Enbridge will be performing a test of their system today around 4:15-4:30 PM. Those in the area of S.R. 122 and Hart Road may hear very loud noise during the test. The test is expected to last 5-7 minutes.

As Emergency Management Awareness Month comes to a close, we want to say THANK YOU to the many partners who help make Warren County ready and prepared for whatever comes next.

Emergency management is truly a team effort. From first responders and dispatchers to local governments, schools, healthcare organizations, nonprofits, businesses, volunteers, and countless other community partners, each plays an important role in keeping Warren County prepared and resilient.

Whether it is planning, training, exercising, sharing information, providing resources, or responding when our community needs it most, we could not do what we do without your involvement and support.

Preparedness isn't the responsibility of one agency. It takes an entire community working together.

Thank you for your partnership, your support, and everything you do for Warren County.

Our dogs are part of the family, and that means they should be part of our emergency preparedness plans too!

Take a few minutes today to make sure you’re prepared to care for your pets during an emergency:
Include pet supplies in your emergency kit
🦴Know where you can evacuate with your pets
🦴Keep ID tags and microchip information current
🦴Keep leashes and carriers easy to access
🦴Have a backup caregiver if you’re away from home
🦴Practice evacuating with your pets

The emergency may be over, but the work isn't.

Recovery begins as a community starts moving from immediate response toward rebuilding, restoring services, and returning to everyday life.

For emergency management, recovery can mean coordinating with local, state, federal, nonprofit, and private-sector partners, helping connect residents and communities with available assistance, documenting damages, supporting debris removal, and helping restore critical services.

And recovery isn't just about putting things back the way they were. It's also an opportunity to learn from what happened and build back stronger and more resilient for the next emergency.

Recovery can take days, months, or even years depending on the disaster, and it takes the entire community working together.
