Big news for the Tree Streets neighborhood. Soleil Phase 2 has been funded, moving us closer to delivering 72 new affordable workforce homes and new commercial space at Bates and Ash Street. Together with Phase 1 and our Choice DeWitt development, Soleil will play a key role in the continued transformation of this block.

🎃👻 Wedgewood Halloween Bash = HUGE Success! 👻🎃
Thanks to the amazing efforts of the newly formed Wedgewood Community Safety Committee and our incredible volunteers, Wedgewood was buzzing with spooky fun last Friday! 🧡

🍬 7,000+ pieces of candy donated and nearly all of it found happy trick-or-treaters!
🌭 Over 450 hotdogs eaten
🎃 Trick-or-treating at 20 resident stops
🎨 Crafts & games for the littles in the community room
🎓 Bates College students + high schoolers = awesome helpers
🏡 Local organizations like Healthy Homeworks, Community Concepts, Kommunity Kritters, and Community Federal Credit Union pitched in big time!

The fun didn’t stop at Wedgewood! Leftover treats found new homes at Blake Street Towers and with the Food Security program.

This week’s Harvest Party at the Hillview Resource Center was a huge success, and the kids had an amazing time enjoying all things spooky and fun!

Activities included:
• Zombie Crawl obstacle course
• Temporary tattoo station
• Arts & crafts table
• “Pin the Spider on the Web”
• Sensory play with “witches hair,” “zombie eyeballs,” and “worms”
• Halloween bingo
• Snacks & music

We are always grateful for our continued partnership with the Auburn-Lewiston YMCA. Working together helps ensure the kids at Hillview have joyful, memorable experiences like this one! 🎃🕸️👻

Summer started with a splash (of rain!) but a whole lot of fun at Hillview!

Our Resident Success team, in partnership with the Auburn-Lewiston YMCA, hosted a Summer Kick-Off Event last week at Hillview! And despite the weather, the energy was amazing!

Over 60 kids joined us throughout the day to enjoy games, giveaways, snacks, and hands-on educational activities all about:
💰 Saving money
🌱 Growing healthy foods
🏃‍♀️ Getting active and staying strong

We’re so grateful to the community partners who showed up and joined in on the fun. Rain or shine, it’s always a good day when we come together to support our residents!
