Have you ever thought of building your own fantasy world as rich and immersive as Middle Earth, Hogwarts, or Arrakis? Join the Rockbridge Regional Library on Thursday, November 12 from 5:00 PM to 6:00PM for an interactive writing workshop led by Josh Poole, co-author of The Shards of Acrilon.

In this workshop, you’ll learn how to build a fantasy universe from scratch. Discover the secrets to designing magic systems. Whether you’re an aspiring novelist, a casual writer, or a curious reader, you will leave this workshop with the practical tools and inspiration needed to bring your world to life.

Josh Poole is a man of multiple talents, whether it’s crafting award-winning poetry or sculpting samurai out of soda cans. He lives in a messy trove of ongoing projects in Lexington, Virginia where, despite local rumors, he is not actually a cryptid. Use the handle to find him across the internet.
