Hammons said $7 million of the LATCF allocation was invested with the intent that annual investment earnings would help fund employee wage increases without increasing the burden on taxpayers.

🌲 Happy Logger Days! 🌲
This weekend, be sure to stop by our booth and watch for our float in the parade as we celebrate one of the industries that helped build Montana and continues to support our communities today.
Logging isn't just about jobs. It's about stewardship. Healthy forests require active management, responsible harvesting, and the people willing to do the hard work of caring for the land. Montana's loggers help reduce wildfire fuel, support local economies, provide renewable resources, and keep our working forests healthy for future generations.
Conservation and logging don't have to be opposing ideas. In many cases, responsible forestry is conservation in action.
We're proud to celebrate the men and women who work in the woods and the legacy they've built across our state.
See you at Logger Days! πŸŒ²πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ
