The County of Kaua‘i has no obligation to monitor the Communication Services. However, the County of Kaua‘i reserves the right to review materials posted to a Communication Service and to remove any materials in its sole discretion. The Kaua‘i Bus announces modified schedule in Līhu‘e for June 13
LĪHU'E – The Kauai Bus Route 70 Līhu‘e Shuttle will have a modified route on Saturday, June 13. Rice Street will be closed from 8:45 a.m. to 11 a.m. for the King Kamehameha Day Parade and Celebration.
During this closure, the following stops will not be serviced:
• Rice Street/Hoolako Street (both sides of the street)
• Rice Street/Hardy Street
• Rice Street/Umi Street
• Rice Street/Ewalu Street
• Rice Street/Kalena Street
This will affect the 70 Lihue Shuttle routes starting at 8:55 a.m., 9:55 a.m., and potentially the 10:55 a.m. depending on when Rice Street reopens. Riders looking to access Rice Street during this closure should use the Eiwa Street Civic Center bus stop.

The Kaua‘i Bus announces modified schedule in Līhu‘e for June 6
LĪHU'E – The Kauai Bus Route 70 Lihue Shuttle will have a modified route on Saturday, June 6. Rice Street will be closed from 9:30 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. for the 8th Annual YWCA Pride Parade.
During this closure, the following stops will not be serviced:
• Rice Street/Hoolako Street (both sides of the street)
• Rice Street/Hardy Street
• Rice Street/Umi Street
• Rice Street/Ewalu Street
• Rice Street/Kalena Street
This will affect the 70 Lihue Shuttle routes starting at 8:55 a.m., 9:55 a.m., and 10:55 a.m. Riders looking to access Rice Street during this closure should use the Eiwa Street Civic Center bus stop.

Aloha, Due to a water line break Hanalei Post Office bus stop will not be in service until further notice due to road closure. Passengers waiting at the Hanalei Center bus stop will be picked up fronting the parking lot area near Kuhio Hwy. & Aku Rd. intersection. Any questions you can call the office at (808) 246-8110. Aloha Riders- Currently the Hanalei River is rising our drivers will be ending their Route 500 at Princeville Shopping Center bus stop. They will also start the Mainline 400 from across Princeville Library bus stop there until further notice. Mahalo

The 900/950 Express route will not be operated at 5:20, 7:10, 9:20, and 11:10 a.m. on Friday March 13th, 2026. We apologize for any inconvenience. All other bus service is planned to operate, pending inclement weather conditions.
