Lincoln Elementary Bismarck Public Schools starts TODAY!! Remember the following so you don't have 🚓 in your mirror.

**Lincoln's City-wide speed limit is 15 mph. The school zone is clearly marked and violations in this zone start at $40.00 for 1-10 mph over 15-mph.

**The marked mobility impaired parking is reserved for those with approved certificates (placards or license plates). Anyone parking, stopping, blocking without an approved certificates will receive a $100 citation. Yes, even if you're just picking up your child and it's only for a second. Placards must be properly displayed hanging from the rear-view mirror while parked.

**You must stop BEFORE the crosswalk at the stop sign at McDougall Drive/Lincoln Road or Dolan Drive/66th Street. Blocking the crosswalk or stopping after the stop sign is a violation and a hazard. You may be cited with disregarding a stop sign for $80.00.

**Be SAFE!

**The zone at the front of the school is a LOADING ZONE which means it is for immediate loading or unloading of passengers. Parking of 5 MINUTES or less ONLY.

Vandalism Investigation – Request for Information

On August 3, 2026, at approximately 6:13 p.m., Officer Corey Mahoney of the Lincoln Police Department responded to the 100 block of McDougall Drive for a report of vandalism.

Upon arrival, Officer Mahoney observed damage to a front window of a residence. The damage is consistent with what appears to be BB or pellet gun impacts.

The Lincoln Police Department is asking for the public's assistance. If you witnessed any suspicious activity in the area on the day of the incident, or if you have surveillance or doorbell camera footage that may assist with this investigation, please contact the Lincoln Police Department.

Even the smallest piece of information could help identify those responsible and prevent similar incidents from occurring in our community.

** The pup who didn't receive her dinner early enough and went on a walkabout in protest has been returned **

This sweet, trained dog was located on Edgerly Lane. He misses his hoomans. The dog has no collar, tags or a microchip.

Lincoln PD reminds pet owners of their responsibility to care for and keep possession of their pets. Failure to register, clean up after, allow off-leash when not on their owned property, or having a pet at-large will result in citations.
