Chestnut Hill Quadrant PTO

Chestnut Hill Quadrant PTO Donlin Drive Elementary, Chestnut Hill Elementary, Chestnut Hill Middle PTO meetings are held on the 1st Tuesday of each month.

All members in attendance at each meeting will be able to discuss decisions involving PTO events, fundraising programs and areas of PTO financial support. All parents and guardians are invited to attend! Each year the PTO funds field trips and bus expenses, classroom magazines, author visits, school folders and planners, plays, additional classroom supplies and more. We also provide much needed ex

tras for the school to enhance our children's overall school experience. The PTO runs fundraisers, holds family fun events like the Back-To-School Family Picnic, The Halloween Family Night, Movie Nights, Dining for Dollars (Denny's, Tully"s, etc) . It also supports programs like PAC, the yearbook, and the 5th grade graduation.

At last evening’s meeting, the Liverpool Central School District Board of Education presented POOLS Awards (Proud of our Liverpool Students/Proud of our Liverpool Staff) to four students and two teachers from Donlin Drive Elementary for their hard work and dedication: kindergartner Arya Fairbrother, first-grader Natalia Melendez, second-grader Spencer Anderson, First Grade Teacher Ashley Lightaul and Guard Joseph Scordo.

Today is World Ocean Day.

Today serves as a dedicated global day to appreciate, protect, and restore our one shared ocean.

This year's theme is "Reimagine: Beyond the World We Know, A New Relationship with Our Ocean."

The primary action focus for the year centers on accelerating global climate and ocean policy. Activists and world leaders are pushing for the implementation of the historic High Seas Treaty, which recently entered into force, alongside the broader 30x30 movement-a unified push to successfully protect at least 30% of our blue planet's lands and waters by 2030.

Today is National Donut Day!

Established by the Salvation Army to commemorate it's 88th year, the holiday honors the "Donut Lassies". These brave female volunteers traveled to the front lines of World War I to provide spiritual comfort, clothes, and freshly fried donuts to American soldiers.

Many nationwide chains and local bakeries are rolling out incredible freebies and discounts so grab yourself a sweet treat and celebrate today!
