Investigator Sieck transported a jail inmate to a scheduled court hearing at the Harrison County Attorney Office in Logan. The inmate was transported back to the jail facility after the hearing.

Deputy Sosa was contacted by a juvenile resident in Logan concerning harassing text messages from a subject in Council Bluffs. A parent was notified and this matter is being handled by the parent. No further assistance was requested of law enforcement at this time.

Deputies Peschel and Sosa assisted Iowa State Patrol with a traffic stop/arrest on Interstate #29, near #75 mile-marker. Iowa State Patrol is handling charges related to this incident.

Deputy McMurray responded to a report of a golden retriever breed dog running at large complaint on W. 4th Street in Logan. The dog was located and dog could not be apprehended. Humane Society was also contacted per this matter.

Sgt. Kline responded to assist a motorist that become stuck on a mud road near the intersection of Joliet Avenue and 342nd Street. A tow service was required to remove the vehicle from this location.

Deputy Peschel was contacted by a Little Sioux resident reporting a suspicious vehicle that has been driving around town. A description of the vehicle was provided and area will be patrolled further per the reported information.

Deputy Peschel was contacted for a welfare check on a resident on Reading Trail. Contact was made with resident who reported to be fine and had a family member assisting them.

Deputy Peschel assisted Missouri Valley Police with a traffic stop/arrest near the intersection of N. 1st Street and Michigan Street in Missouri Valley. K9 Drako was deployed during this time and alerted to the vehicle. A search of the vehicle recovered drug paraphernalia. Two subjects were arrested and transported to jail. Missouri Valley Police is handling charges related to this incident.

Deputy Sosa assisted Missouri Valley Police with an arrest/transport of subject on Missouri Valley Police charges per an incident on Willow Road in Missouri Valley.

Deputy Peschel responded to a report of suspicious vehicle near a farm property off 145th Street. The area was patrolled and no vehicles were located and no signs of foul play were observed during this time.

Lt. Klutts transported inmate Tyler Rainer from Harrison County Jail to Oakdale Prison in Correctionville per a court ordered prison sentence. Transport performed without incident.

Deputy Knickman responded to assist Iowa State Patrol with a traffic stop on Interstate #29, near #84 mile-marker. A passenger within the vehicle had an out of state warrant. A check showed this warrant was not extraditable at this time. No further action taken per these findings.

Reserve Deputy Fagan and Sgt. Denton were performing court security at Harrison County Courthouse per district court hearings. During this time, a subject was sentenced to jail time and was taken into custody and transported to Harrison County Jail facility.

Sgt. Denton and Reserve Deputy Fagan responded to assist Missouri Valley Police with a reported disturbance at a residence on N. 3rd Street in Missouri Valley. Based on the findings, a subject was arrested and transported to jail per Missouri Valley Police charges.

Deputy Knickman received information for suspicious activity at a location in rural Missouri Valley. The area will be patrolled further per this information.

Deputy Reynolds assisted Missouri Valley Police with locating a subject with an active Harrison County warrant for a probation violation. Joshua Wascher was located at a residence on N. 3rd Street in Missouri Valley and was taken into custody and transported to the jail facility.

Lt. Klutts transported a jail inmate to a scheduled court hearing at the Harrison County Attorney Office in Logan. The inmate was transported back to the jail facility after the hearing.

Sgt. Kline responded to a medical call for a workplace accident on Remsen Street in Dunlap. Assistance was provided until rescue arrived on scene.

Sgt. Kline and Deputy Lieber performed security for a public health meeting being held at Logan Community Center.

Deputy Lieber was contacted for a possible cattle theft from rural Dunlap. Investigation is ongoing.

Deputy Lieber was contacted for a protection order violation per a current jail inmate contacting the protected person via text messages. Based on the findings, Dylan Whiting of Omaha, Nebraska, was charged with violation of a protection order.

Deputy Sosa responded to a report of a subject walking on the travel portion of the roadway on N. 2nd Avenue and 6th Street in Logan. The caller reported that this subject was almost struck by a passing vehicle. The area was patrolled and the described subject was not located within the area.

Deputy Sosa responded to a Logan-Magnolia basketball game due to a report of fans harassing the referees. No issues were ongoing while deputy was present.

Deputy Sosa responded to a medical call at a residence on Longview Road and utilized his AED on a patient until rescue arrived on scene.

Deputy Knickman responded to an alarm activated at a property located on 286th Street. Upon arrival, workers were on scene performing concrete work and no foul play was observed.

Sgt. Denton and Deputy Lieber responded to a residence on Park Street in Woodbine to assist Woodbine Police with a suicidal subject. Subject was located and transported by law enforcement to Missouri Valley Hospital for an evaluation.

Deputy Goodell responded to a reported structure fire on W. Huron Street in Missouri Valley. Goodell entered into the structure that was on fire and smoke consumed to remove persons and a pet from inside the residence. The fire department was dispatched and extinguished the fire.

Sgt. Denton and Deputy Reynolds patrolled Highway #30 in an attempt to locate a described vehicle that was involved with an incident in Crawford County. The vehicle was not located during this time.

Deputy Reynolds responded to a report of an injured deer in the roadway near the intersection of Highway #44 and Toledo Avenue. The area was checked and the animal was not located during this time.

Deputy Goodell responded to a report of a subject threatening self harm at a residence on 220th Street. Contact was made with subject and they were transported to Missouri Valley Hospital for an evaluation.

Deputy Knickman responded to Douglas County Corrections in Nebraska to pick up an inmate with an outstanding Harrison County warrant. Erica Ellis of Missouri Valley was taken into custody and transported to Harrison County Jail facility.

Sgt. Denton and Deputy Knickman responded to assist Dunlap Police with a reported disturbance at a residence on Y Street in Dunlap. Based on the findings, one subject was arrested and transported to jail per Dunlap Police charges.

Deputy Reynolds was contacted by a resident on Highway #191 per harassment via social media posts by an identified subject. Based on the findings, this was determined to be a civil matter and no further action taken by law enforcement at this time.

Deputy Goodell assisted Missouri Valley Police with a reported disturbance at residence on Joliet Avenue. Contact was made with subjects involved and it was discovered that one of the subjects had an out of county warrant for their arrest. The warrant was confirmed and subject was taken into custody and transported to Harrison County jail facility.

Deputy Lieber is investigating a two-vehicle accident causing property damage to both vehicles within the Logan-Magnolia School parking lot.

Deputy Sosa responded to a report of suspicious activity for two persons observed walking within the ditch area off Loess Hills Trail, north of Missouri Valley. The area was patrolled and nobody was located during this time.

Deputy Peschel was contacted for a harassment complaint. Based on the findings, this was determined to be happening in Missouri Valley and complainant was advised to contact Missouri Valley Police per this matter.

Deputy Peschel responded to a welfare check at residence on 5th Street in Logan. Contact was made with subject and family members that were present. Based on the findings, subject was transported to Missouri Valley Hospital for an evaluation.

Investigator Sieck assisted Monona County with locating information for suspect involved with a theft incident in Monona County.

Investigator Sieck and Deputy Lieber are investigating a reported assault incident from the previous day involving family members at a residence on Prairie Trail. Investigation is ongoing.

Investigator Sieck was contacted for a family matter that involved family members removing property from a deceased family members residence. Based on the information provided, this was determined to be a civil matter and they were referred to contact an attorney to handle any issues concerning property of the deceased.

Deputy Lieber responded to a medical call at a residence on S. Elm Avenue in Logan and aided rescue with loading patient into ambulance for transport to hospital.

Deputy Lieber responded to a report of a subject that had fallen outside of their residence on Boyer View Drive. Subject was assisted back into their residence and declined transport from rescue.

Sgt. Denton responded to a residence on Y Street in Dunlap for a subject that has an outstanding Harrison County warrant. Donald Mefferd of Dunlap was located, taken into custody and transported to the Harrison County Jail facility. Based on the findings, Mefferd was also charged with violation of a protection order for being at the residence in Dunlap.

Deputy Reynolds is investigating a single-vehicle accident near the intersection of 335th Street and Quimby Avenue.

Deputy Reynolds was contacted by a Logan resident concerning harassment from an identified subject. Contact was made with subject and they were warned to cease harassment activity.

Deputy Sosa responded to a requested welfare check for a resident on Merrick Place. Contact was made with resident and they reported as being fine. No foul play observed during this time.

Deputy McMurray and Sgt. Kine responded to a reported disturbance at a residence on Highway #127. Contact was made with subjects involved. Based on the findings, a subject is being charged with an Assault violation.

Sgt. Kline was requested to perform a welfare check for a resident on Sharon Avenue. No contact was made at the residence and this information was forwarded to the requestor.

Deputy Peschel responded to a residential alarm on Laredo Avenue. The property was checked and found to be secure. No foul play observed during this time.

Sgt. Kline responded to a residence on Prairie Trail per a reported juvenile matter. Contact was made with juvenile and parents of juvenile. The issue was resolved during this time.

Deputies Peschel and Sosa responded to a reported single-vehicle accident on Highway #30, near 155th Street. The driver of the vehicle in the accident attempted to flee on foot from law enforcement and was apprehended. Based on the findings, Gavvon Shafer of Woodbine was arrested for an OWI violation and transported to jail.

Deputy Sosa responded to a reported disturbance at a residence on 194th Street. Contact was made with subjects involved and they reported this to be a verbal argument. No further assistance of law enforcement was requested.

Deputy Sosa responded to assist a motorist having vehicle mechanical issued on Interstate #29, near #74 mile marker. The occupant of the vehicle was provided transportation to a hotel in Missouri Valley.

Sgt. Kline responded to a reported disturbance at a residence on Overton Avenue. Contact was made with subjects involved with incident. Based on the findings, Clayton Lundergard of rural Logan was arrested and transported to jail for an Assault and Child Endangerment violations.

Deputy Peschel responded to the area of N. Tower Road in Logan per a report of suspicious vehicle/persons. The described vehicle and persons were located and reported to be going door to door speaking to residents about spiritual purposes. No foul play was observed during this contact.

Lt. Klutts responded to Saunders County Jail in Fremont, Nebraska, to pick up an inmate with an outstanding Harrison County warrant. Grant Cunard of Honey Creek, Iowa, was taken into custody and transported to Harrison County Jail facility.

Deputy Reynolds was contacted by a Persia resident concerning a neighbor slandering their name. Based on the information provided, this was determined to be a civil matter and no action was taken by law enforcement.

Deputy McMurray responded to pick up a juvenile from JDC in Council Bluffs and transport them to Harrison County Courthouse for a court hearing. Juvenile was transported back to JDC after the hearing.

Sgt. Kline responded to a medical call on S. Elm Ave in Logan and aided rescue.

Sgt. Kline responded to a traffic complaint of a vehicle failing to maintain lanes traveling on Highway #30. The vehicle was located traveling on Highway #30, near Highway #44, and a traffic stop was made for a speed violation. Contact was made with occupant and no foul play was observed during this time.

Sgt. Kline responded to assist Missouri Valley Police with an active alarm at Missouri Valley Elementary School. This was discovered to be a test drill hosted by school officials.

Deputy McMurray is investigating a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of 2nd Avenue and 7th Street in Logan.

Sgt. Kline located a subject at a residence on S. Elm Ave that had a court ordered evaluation/transport. Subject was transported to Mercy Hospital in Council Bluffs.

Deputy Peschel assisted Shelby County officials with locating a subject in Persia for a civil service.

Deputy Peschel responded to a reported suspicious vehicle driving around River Sioux and Little Sioux. The area was patrolled but the described vehicle was not located during this time.

Deputy Lieber was contacted by a parent requesting a welfare check on their children at a residence in Harrison County that are currently with the other parent. Contact was made with subjects and all was found to be fine.

Deputy Peschel assisted Woodbine Police with a traffic stop on Highway #30, per a reported traffic complaint. Woodbine Police handled investigation and any charges related to this incident.

The said vehicle was located near the intersection of Huron Street and 8th Street in Missouri Valley. The driver was also located during this time. Missouri Valley Police is handling investigation.

Deputy Goodell is investigating a single-vehicle rollover accident near the intersection of 305th Street and Jewell Avenue.

Sgt. Kline and Chief Deputy Flaherty responded to a residence on 9th Street in Logan per subject threatening self-harm. Contact was made with subject and rescue was requested per the findings. Subject was transported to Missouri Valley Hospital by rescue.

Deputy Lieber responded to a business alarm on Maple Street in Mondamin. The property was checked and found to be secure. No foul play observed during this time.

Deputy Lieber was contacted by Logan-Magnolia Schools per a parent not picking up their children from school. Contact was made with the parent concerning this matter.

Sgt. Kline was contacted by a resident on Jones Circle in Logan per issues with their cellphone. The resident was advised that they would need to speak with their cellphone service provider per the reported issue.

Lt. Klutts transported Harrison County Jail inmate Elijah Berran to Oakdale Prison in Correctionville per a court ordered prison sentence. Transport performed without incident.

Sgt. Kline performed several to***co compliance checks at businesses within Harrison County.

Deputy Goodell responded to a cellphone crash detection notification near the intersection of 140th Street and Osage Trail. A single-vehicle rollover accident was observed upon arrival and contact was made with vehicle occupant on location. The occupant was transported to Missouri Valley Hospital via rescue. An accident investigation was performed on scene. An OWI investigation was also performed at the hospital, after occupant was medically released. Based on the findings, Clay Kelley of rural Woodbine was arrested and transported to jail for an OWI violation.

Investigator Sieck was contacted by subject asking questions about living restrictions for s*x offenders.

Deputy McMurray is investigating a theft of property from a location on 194th Street. Investigation is ongoing.

Deputy McMurray responded to a report of a suspicious person walking around a property on Poplar Street. The area was checked and nobody was located at the property. No foul play was observed during this time.

Lt. Klutts transported a jail inmate to a scheduled medical appointment at Logan Clinic. Inmate was transported back to jail after appointment.

Deputies McMurray and Lieber responded to a reported disturbance on 1st Street in Pisgah. An identified subject was reported to be walking around and yelling at people near a business. Subject was located at a residence on Front Street. It was also discovered that subject had an outstanding Harrison County warrant for an unserved Mittimus-(court ordered jail time). Based on the findings, Nikkilas Taggart of Pisgah was taken into custody for the warrant and transported to the Harrison County Jail.

Deputy Reynolds responded to a report of suspicious subjects walking around their deceased family members residential property on 240th Street. The area was checked and nobody was located at the property.

Deputy McMurray was contacted by a Logan resident concerning a barking dog complaint. Contact was made with the dog owner per the complaint.

Deputy Peschel responded to Douglas County Correction in Omaha, Nebraska, to pick up a subject with an outstanding Harrison County warrant. Brandon Nazeck of Bellevue, Nebraska, was taken into custody and transported to the Harrison County Jail.

Deputy Lieber is investigating a two-vehicle accident on Interstate #29, near #74 mile-marker.

Deputy Sosa responded to a report of subjects trespassing at a property on Monroe Avenue. The area was checked and nobody was located on the property. No signs of foul play were observed during this time.

Deputy Peschel assisted Shelby County with a vehicle pursuit near the intersection of Highway #44 and Highway #59. The pursuit vehicle continued and entered onto Interstate #80 and subject exited from vehicle and attempted to flee on foot and was apprehended. Shelby County is handling charges related to this incident.

Deputy McMurray responded to the intersection of Highway #44 and Upland Avenue per a report of cows on the roadway. The area was checked and all cows were found to be in a secure area.

Sgt. Kline responded to Interstate #29 to assist Pottawattamie County with a vehicle that was not stopping and traveling in excess of 100mph. The vehicle did eventually pull over near #73 mile-marker. Pottawattamie County is handling investigation/charges related to this incident.

Deputy Peschel assisted Iowa State Patrol with traffic control for a single-vehicle accident on Interstate #29, near #96 mile-marker.

Deputy Peschel responded to Murray Hill per a report of motorcycles driving on walk pathways. The area was patrolled and the motorcycles were not located during this time.

Sgt. Denton assisted a Juvenile Court Officer with a juvenile matter at a residence on N. 2nd Avenue in Logan. It was discovered that the juvenile was in possession of a controlled substance. Based on the findings, juvenile was taken into custody and transported to Juvenile Detention Center-(JDC) in Council Bluffs.

Deputy Reynolds was contacted per a complaint of children playing too close to roadway near the intersection of 270th Street and Reading Trail. Contact was made with the parents concerning this matter.

Deputy Reynolds was requested to perform a welfare check of a resident on E. 9th Street in Logan. It was discovered that the resident was currently hospitalized.

Deputy McMurray responded to a 911 hang-up call from a residence on 335th Street. Contact was made with the resident and they reported to not realizing that they had called 911. No foul play was observed during this contact.

Lt. Klutts transported a jail inmate to a scheduled medical appointment in Nebraska. The inmate was transported back to the jail facility after the appointment.

Sgt. Kline was contacted for a traffic complaint of vehicles speeding through residential area on Main Street in Modale. The area will be patrolled further per this complaint.

Sgt. Kline was contacted for a possible scam involving bank accounts for a resident on Upton Avenue. Based on the information provided, this was determined to be a scam.

Sgt. Kline was contacted by a resident on Upton Avenue for a missing or stolen plate off a farm trailer. Investigation is ongoing.

Deputy Sosa was contacted by Social Worker for an Omaha Hospital reporting an assault from several years ago for a victim. Investigator Sieck followed up with this reported incident. Based on the findings, this incident was discovered to be a simple assault incident and has exceeded statute of limitations for this crime in Iowa.

Deputy Knickman was contacted by a resident on Maple Street in Mondamin per a suspicious person trespassing and taking pictures near their residence. Investigation is ongoing.

Deputy Lieber assisted a motorist with a flat tire on Interstate #29, near #82 mile-marker.

Deputies Reynolds and Knickman responded to a reported disturbance at the rest area located on Interstate #29, near #78 mile-marker. Contact was made with subjects involved and nobody wanted to pursue criminal charges per this incident.

Deputies Reynolds and Goodell assisted Missouri Valley Police with attempting to locate a subject that had violated a protection order on Joliet Avenue. The subject was not located during this time. Missouri Valley Police is handling investigation.

Deputy Lieber was contacted regarding a previous trespass incident at a property located of Easton Trail that was reported and investigated by DNR. This information was taken and confirmed with DNR officials as an active case. DNR is handling investigation.

Deputy Peschel responded to a report of two dogs running at large on N. 3rd Avenue in Logan. The dogs were located and transported to the Logan Humane Society.

Deputy Sosa responded to a welfare check of a subject threatening self harm at residence on N. 2nd Avenue in Logan. Contact was made with subject and family members during this time. No further assistance was requested of law enforcement.

Deputy Sosa responded to a passerby motorist reporting a subject attempting to flag people down on Interstate #29, near #75 mile-marker. The area was patrolled and nobody was located during this time.

Deputy Lieber responded to assist rescue with a medical call on Normal Street in Woodbine.

Harrison County law enforcement executed a search warrant at a residence on Austin Avenue. Investigation is ongoing.

Sgt. Kine performed a welfare check on a resident on Highway #30, that was not answering a phone call from a family member. Contact was made with the resident and all was found to be fine.

Sgt. Kline arrested Norman Ellison of Missouri Valley after he arrived at the jail facility to turn himself in for an outstanding Harrison County warrant.

Deputy Sosa responded to a business alarm on E. 7th Street in Logan. The property was checked and found to be secure. No foul play observed during this time.

Investigator Sieck performed a required update for individual on the s*x offender registry.

Deputy Reynolds checked a residence in Missouri Valley for a subject that was court ordered for an evaluation to be performed at Jennie Edmudson Hospital in Council Bluffs. Subject was located and transported without incident.

Deputy Reynolds responded to a Pottawattamie County Jail in Council Bluffs to pick up an inmate with an outstanding Harrison County warrant. Elijah Berran of Omaha, Nebraska, was taken into custody and transported to the Harrison County Jail facility.

Deputy Lieber responded to a medical call at a residence on Jones Circle in Logan and provided assistance until rescue arrived on scene.

Deputy Lieber was contacted regarding a protection order violation at a residence on 270th Street. Investigation is ongoing.

Deputy Knickman is investigating a single-vehicle accident on Highway #30, near Desoto Avenue.

Deputy Reynolds assisted Missouri Valley Police with a reported protection order violation at a residence on E. Erie Street in Missouri Valley. Two subjects were arrested and transported to Harrison County Jail per Missouri Valley Police charges.

Deputy Peschel initiated a traffic stop for a speed violation on Interstate #29, near #85 mile-marker. An occupant of the vehicle was found to have an outstanding warrant from Polk County. Based on the findings, Christopher Rogers of Mondamin was taken into custody and transported to the Harrison County Jail facility.

Harrison County Deputies and Missouri Valley Police executed a search warrant at residential property on E. Palmer Street in Modale. Several controlled substances were seized during this investigation. Based on the findings, Alice Howerton of Modale was charged with several Possession of Controlled Substances, Drug Paraphernalia and Weapon violations.

Deputy Sosa responded to a complaint of dogs running at large on Monroe Avenue. The dog owner was identified and advised to keep their dogs confined to their property or on a leash.

Investigator Sieck performed several required updates for individuals on the s*x offender registry.

Lt. Klutts responded to Jennie Edmudson Hospital in Council Bluffs to pick up a subject for a court hearing at the Harrison County Courthouse. Transport performed without incident.

Deputy Reynolds responded to a report of cows on the roadway near the intersection of Laredo Avenue and 205th Lane. The area was checked and no cows were located on the roadway at this location.

Deputy Knickman responded to a trespassing complaint of railroad property near the intersection of Highway #30 and Corning Avenue. Contact was made with subjects and they were advised to stay off railroad property.

Deputy Knickman is investigating a single-vehicle accident on Loess Hills Trails, north of Missouri Valley.

Investigator Sieck executed a court ordered Writ of Removal at a property on N. 6th Street in Missouri Valley. The property was turned over to the property owner during this time.

Deputy Knickman was contacted by a resident on S. Elm Street in Logan for a possible stolen battery charger. Investigation is ongoing.

Deputy Goodell checked a residence on E. 1st Street in Logan for a subject with an outstanding Harrison County warrant. Jeffrey Denton was located, taken into custody, and transported to the Harrison County Jail facility.

Deputies Goodell and Reynolds responded to a reported disturbance at a residence on 335th Street. Contact was made with subjects involved. Based on the findings, Jeffrey Foote of rural Missouri Valley was arrested and transported to jail for an Assault violation.

Investigator Sieck performed several required updates for individuals on the s*x offender registry.

Deputy McMurray responded to a residence on 335th Street for a property exchange between subjects with an active protection order in place. This action was performed without incident.

Deputies Peschel and Sosa responded to a noise complaint on W. Pine Street in Pisgah. Contact was made with subjects at residence and a parent was also contacted per this matter.

Deputy Lieber assisted a motorist having vehicle mechanical problems on Gordon Avenue. The vehicle owner had a ride coming and also contacted a tow service to remove the vehicle from this location.

Deputy Lieber assisted a motorist that was stuck in a snow drift on a dirt roadway on Larpenteur Memorial Road. The vehicle owner contacted a tow service to remove the vehicle from this location.

Deputy Peschel assisted Missouri Valley Police with attempting to locate a described vehicle involved with a gas drive off in Missouri Valley. The vehicle was not located during this time.

Deputy Sosa is investigating a single-vehicle accident on Niles Trail.

Deputy McMurray is investigating a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of 3rd Avenue and 5th Street in Logan.

Deputy Sosa responded to a reported disturbance at a residence on Meadow Lane. Contact was made with subjects involved. Based on the findings, subjects elected to separate and one subject was provided transportation to a family members residence in Missouri Valley.

Sgt. Kline assisted a motorist having vehicle mechanical issues on Highway #30, near Sanford Place.

Deputy McMurray responded to a residential structure fire on Redwood Avenue.

Sgt. Kline and Deputy McMurray performed a requested welfare check at residence on 290th Street. Subject was not located during this time.

Sgt. Kline checked on a subject walking along Highway #30, near Logan. Subject had just been released from jail facility. Subject was provided transportation to Missouri Valley.

Deputy Peschel assisted Missouri Valley Police with a two-vehicle accident off Willow Road in Missouri Valley.
