What an incredible evening celebrating the men and women who have served our country!

A heartfelt **THANK YOU** to everyone who came out to support the **Honor Our Vets** program at the Harrison County Fair. We couldn't have asked for better weather or a better turnout. Seeing our community come together to recognize the sacrifices and service of our local veterans was truly inspiring.

A very special congratulations to this year's honorees, **Cindy and John Ratliff**. Thank you both for your service to our nation and for allowing us the privilege of recognizing your military careers. Your dedication and sacrifice are an inspiration to us all.

We also want to extend our sincere appreciation to:

🇺🇸 **Woodbine American Legion Post 143** for their meaningful participation in the ceremony and for helping honor our veterans with such professionalism and respect.

🎤 **Lt. Col. Steven Harrington, USAF-Ret.** for delivering an outstanding keynote address that reminded us of the importance of service, sacrifice, and community.

Finally, thank you to everyone who worked behind the scenes and volunteered their time to make this event a success—from our Board of Commissioners, presenters, songs by Rick Powell, fair staff, and volunteers, to every veteran, family member, and community member who attended. Your support is what makes this program so special year after year.

Together, we continue to ensure that the service and sacrifices of our Harrison County veterans are never forgotten.

Thank you to everyone who took the time to submit nominations for this year's Harrison County Veteran Honorees. We were truly inspired by the incredible stories of service, sacrifice, and dedication shared by our community.

✨ This year, we're doing something extra special. ✨

For the first time, we are proud to honor not just two Veterans, but a husband and wife whose service to our nation exemplifies commitment both in uniform and at home.
