June’s Veterans Advisory Commission meeting brought together commissioners, veteran-serving organizations, and community partners for discussions on veteran advocacy, military recruitment initiatives, and programs that support healing and connection through the arts. Commissioners also considered a letter of support for the Major Richard Star Act and received updates from the Los Angeles County Department of Military and Veterans Affairs.
