Today was North Bullitt High school’s “Day of Shattered Dreams”.
Hillview PD taught the DUI course, the “do’s and dont’s of traffic stops” and answered general law enforcement questions to the out going senior class. They were also able to witness a mock fatal accident. Zoneton fire, Bullitt county EMS, Bullitt county Sheriff’s Office and dispatch, Bullitt county EMA and Air Evac Lifeteam all took part.
It was our pleasure to work with the students on making good choices as it relates to driving and want to thank NBHS for inviting us.
Good luck to all the graduating seniors!

As most are aware, we are expecting a large amount of snow starting Saturday afternoon through Sunday night.
The police department has adjusted our staffing levels to ensure we have an appropriate amount of officers on the streets to help through this storm.
Please prepare your homes for the storm. During the storm, if at all possible, stay at home. The roads are going to be bad.

Our public works department has already started prepping the roads and will continue to work through the storm. Do not park any vehicles on the roadway as this will impede their efforts to clear the road and your vehicle could be towed.

The government center will be opened as a warming center for those that need shelter if they loose power. It is located at 283 Crestwood lane. If you cannot get there, call the non emergency number to dispatch and we will make every effort to come and transport you to the center.

Everyone stay safe and help out your neighbors.
