Mr. Frederick Michael McBride, III, age 81, of Fern Creek returned to his Heavenly Father on Sunday, April 26, 2026. Mr. McBride was born on February 14, 1945, in East St. Louis, Illinois to the late Frederick M., Jr. and Cleo (Ferry) McBride. Mr. McBride worked as a printer for Southern Standard Cartons and was a member of St. Stephen Lutheran Church. He was a Mason with Robinson-Plumb Masonic Lodge #266 F. & A.M. He also belonged to Kosair Shriners and Ahmed Grotto. Among those that preceded him in death are his parents, and sister, Colleen.

He leaves to cherish his memory his children, John McBride (Lianne), Cory McBride (Kelli) and Megan Ritchie; grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Michael, Briley and Lauren; sister, Cleo Skaggs; and brother, Ferdinand McBride.

A Memorial Service will be conducted at 6:00 pm on Sunday, May 3, 2026, in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood & Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.). A Masonic Service will be held on Sunday, May 3, 2026, at 7:00 pm at the funeral home. Family and friends may pay their respects on Sunday, May 3, 2026, from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Schoppenhorst, Underwood & Brooks Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Kosair Charities in honor of Mr. McBride are appreciated.

Tommy L. Russell, 79 of Louisville, passed away Thursday, April 23, 2026 due to a car accident. He was the son of the late Louis and Dorothy Russell of Memphis, TN. Tommy served in the United States Air Force and was a Vietnam veteran. He was also a retired auto technician. Tommy was a member of St. Gabriel the Archangel, Knights of Columbus Council #15699, Knights of Columbus 4th Degree, American Legion Post 201, Robinson-Plumb Lodge #266, St. Gabriel's Men's Club, St. Gabriel Bingo Volunteer, and Society of St. Vincent de Paul. He represented St. Gabriel the Archangel parish on the Board of Director's at Fern Creek/Highview United Ministries for over 21 years along with volunteering.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother: Michael Russell; and his sister-in-law: Linda Russell.

Left to cherish his memory are his beloved wife of 41 years: Mary Russell; his sons: Eric Russell and Bradley Russell (Erik); grandsons: Nicholas and Zachary Russell; 9 nieces and nephews; numerous great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great-nieces, and great-great-nephews.

Visitation will be 5-8 PM Thursday, April 30, 2026 at Arch L Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Rd, Louisville, KY 40218. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10 AM Friday, May 1, 2026 at St. Gabriel the Archangel, 5505 Bardstown Rd, Louisville, KY 40218. Tommy will be laid to rest at a later date at Memphis Memorial Gardens in Bartlett, TN.

Samuel Neal Gabehart, 85 of Louisville, passed away on Tuesday, March 31st, 2026.

Neal was born in Merrimac, KY on August 29th 1940 to Noel and Nellie Gabehart. Neal served his country in the US Army and retired from there and then went on to be a barber for Watterson City Barbershop. He was a member of Robinson-Plumb Masonic Lodge #266, Valley of Louisville Scottish Rite and Kosair Shrine where he is involved with many activities and clubs. He also loved to fish and spend time on the lake.

Neal was preceded in death by his loving wife, Mary Lou (Kessler) Gabehart, his parents, Noel and Nellie Gabehart and his sister, Wanda Farmer.

He is survived by his brother, Odis Gabehart (Janet), three nieces, Beth Gabehart, Amy Laing (Mike) and Becky Phillips (Richard) and one nephew Steve Farmer (Kelly).

Visitation will be Tuesday, April 7th from 2:00pm- 8:00pm at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Rd. Rose Croix and Masonic Services will be Tuesday Night starting at 6:00pm. Funeral Services will be Wednesday at 11:00am
