The Franciscan Rhythms 5K Trail Run & Walk is more than a 5K – it brings together the community to support life-changing music therapy and impactful land restoration projects.

Each year, our music therapy program serves 300 community members, helping to reduce stress and strengthen emotional well-being. 🎨 We have seats open in our September art workshops with Art by Barbara Schilling, Stan Kurth, MaryBeth Karaus and Joe Paquet. These acclaimed artists are teaching creative sessions to explore color temperature and saturation in landscape paintings, prismatic palettes and more techniques. 🏃‍♀️🌳 Join us for our annual Franciscan Rhythms 5K Trail Run & Walk on Saturday, Oct. 3. At 9:15 a.m., race participants will follow a course through a beautiful pine forest and restored prairie and gardens at our Lowell campus, 11650 Downes St. NE. This all-fitness-levels event will benefit our music therapy program and land restoration efforts.

We’re hosting Mass 10-11 a.m. this Saturday, Aug. 8, as part of our ongoing series for the celebration of the Jubilee Year of St. Francis as declared by Pope Leo XIV. Bishop David John Walkowiak will lead Mass at our Lowell campus chapel, 11650 Downes St. NE, followed by an education session about St. Francis of Assisi’s charisms with the sisters.

Reconnect with God and your faith community: Join us for a special penance service 7-8 p.m. this Sunday (Aug. 2) as we celebrate the Feast of the Pardon of Assisi during this Jubilee Year of Saint Francis of Assisi. The service will take place at our Lowell campus, 11650 Downes St. NE, and confessions will follow.

These spaces are open to all 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday through Friday. Before beginning your journey, please stop by the front desk to check in.
