Meet one of the coaches helping support pharmacy practice transformation across Wisconsin: Abbi Linde, PharmD, Managing Network Facilitator for CPESN Wisconsin.

As a former pharmacy owner, Abbi understands the importance of integrating new clinical services into workflows that already work for busy pharmacy teams. Her focus is helping pharmacies use medication synchronization as a foundation for sustainable, reimbursable clinical services.

For Abbi, one of the most rewarding parts is seeing those processes come together and helping pharmacy teams create services that work for both their patients and their business.

Outside of pharmacy, Abbi’s favorite way to stay calm, happy, and healthy is pickleball. She’s always ready for a little pharmacy pickleball!

We were so lucky to have Molly Thomley join the PSW team for her APPE rotation! 💚

Molly brought curiosity, creativity, and an incredible level of accountability to everything she took on. Her work touched nearly every corner of PSW, including developing resources to help pharmacy teams connect patients with community resources, supporting the PSW Annual Meeting and Student Leadership Forum, creating gamechanger scenarios for our upcoming Board Retreat, and contributing to early planning for our EHR Stakeholder Workgroup and its connection to the Rural Health Transformation Program.

She also jumped right into the fast-paced world of member communications, helping develop FastFacts content on a wide range of timely opportunities and resources.

Molly, thank you for bringing your curiosity, creativity, and positive energy to our team. It was a genuine joy to work with you, and we’re excited to see where your pharmacy career takes you! 💚

Last week, PSW welcomed Beth Martin as our guest “CEO for the Day!” 💚

Beth bid on this experience during the Wisconsin Pharmacy Foundation Decker Scholarship Golf Outing this summer and made the most of her day with the PSW team.

She provided feedback to UW–Madison APPE student Molly Thomley, joined conversations about PSW’s strategic planning and policy priorities, discussed opportunities for collaboration with national pharmacy organizations, and participated in a public health discussion with members of the PSW team.

Beth also has a special connection to PSW. She previously served as Director of Professional and Educational Affairs during the pivotal time when WPhA and WSHP came together to form PSW.

Thank you, Beth, for bringing your curiosity, energy, and commitment to Wisconsin pharmacy back to PSW for the day!

September 20 is Pharmacy Workforce Su***de Awareness Day.

Pharmacy professionals dedicate their careers to caring for others. Today is an important reminder to also look out for one another, recognize when a colleague may need support, and help connect members of our pharmacy community with appropriate resources.

Meet one of the coaches helping support pharmacy practice transformation across Wisconsin: Matt Huppert, clinical pharmacist and diabetes educator at Reedsburg Area Medical Center.

Through the CPF Coaching Transformation Grant, Matt works with pharmacies across Wisconsin to strengthen skills, workflows, and sustainable patient care services.

What he enjoys most are the “aha moments,” when a pharmacist or pharmacy technician learns a new skill or sees a familiar workflow in a completely different way. For Matt, helping pharmacy teams recognize new possibilities in their day-to-day work is what makes coaching especially rewarding.

Outside of pharmacy, Matt is an avid basketball player and is up at 5:30 a.m. three days a week to get on the court. He is also already looking forward to the next March Madness.
