Please join us this evening in the Lac Du Flambeau Ojibwe Nation for a dinner and candidate forum. We will be at the Lac Du Flambeau Multipurpose building at 181 Cedar Ave, Lac Du Flambeau. Doors open at 4:30 with dinner beginning at 5. A discussion and candidate forum will follow. This is an exciting stop on our democracy tour which visits all Indigenous Nations in Wisconsin and will be a part of our ongoing documentary project.

Have you voted yet? Wisconsin primary elections are tomorrow and I have heard from many people they do not plan to vote! The best way to affect real change in our country is a multipronged strategy involving participation in the electoral process. No matter who you are YOUR VOICE MATTERS! Make a plan to vote tomorrow if you haven't already, registration is easy and can be in person at your voting place. If you aren't sure where that is, go to myvote.wi.gov and enter your information. If work is an issue, remember, your employer must provide you with at least three hours off during the time of the polls to vote.

to Do you have a plan to vote? We are just 4 days away from a major primary here in Wisconsin. As we barrel towards the general election, it is important to make your voice known! It isn't just the gubernatorial primary either but also the primary for representatives and other important state and local positions. Finding more information is easy! Just go to myvote.wi.gov to find information on where to vote, who's on your ballot, and any measures that may be in your municipality! And remember, Wisconsin has same day registration so no worries if you didn't make the registration deadline!
