Women's Municipal Golf Association-Madison

Providing 9 and 18-hole Tuesday morning women's public golf leagues in Madison, Wis. since 1953. The 9-hole group plays alternately at Monona GC and Yahara GC.

This ladies golf league is composed of 2 groups for different levels of the golf experience. The 18-hole group plays alternately at Odana GC and Yahara GC. Our season in 4 months long beginning in May and ending in August. New members are welcome!

In addition to our regular league play at Odana this morning, 4 of our players enjoyed another day of competitive golf at the Meadows of Sixmile Creek.

Congratulatins to Linda Briggs for her first place finish in the gross and net divisions of third flight in the WSGA Women's Stableford event!

12 of our WMGA players enjoyed golf at the Stoughton Country Club today in the Women's Day Scramble put on by the LPGA Amateur Golf Association - Madison Chapter

Congratulations to Lori Bindl Zahorik who hit her shot closest to the pin on # 10 and Wendy Benson with the longest putt on #1!

It was a great Fun Day of golf at Yahara! The course is maturing and improving and our members, old and new enjoyed the day!

If you're looking for a great league, we continually welcome new players ~ come have fun with the WMGA 18 hole group, playing Tuesday mornings throughout the summer; Golf Madison Parks with us!

We had our first league play day today at Yahara - Golf Madison Parks. Improvements to the course and clubhouse were noted and appreciated!

Many of our other players were in the 2 day Wisconsin State Golf Association Women's Senior Four-Ball Championship at The Beloit Club. Congratulations to Jane Bowden and partner Linda Briggs for placing 3rd gross in 1st flight and 2nd net in 1st flight!

Golfers, it's time to shake off the cobwebs!

Golf Madison Parks will be opening for play Saturday, Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday at noon; walking only.

You can also go online and pick up your discounted season passes at this time. Discounted passes are available through Saturday so don't dawdle!

Thinking about joining a golf league in 2026? The WMGA offers 9 and 18 hole leagues; both play on Tuesday mornings.

The 9 hole league plays alternate weeks at the Monona and Yahara courses and the 18 hole league alternates between the Yahara and Odana Hills courses. Both leagues welcome new players - Golf Madison Parks!

Make a resolution to play more golf this year, a resolution you will be happy to keep!
