If you are reading this, it is likely that you are searching for something different for your child. I am thrilled that you have taken the time to learn more about Polaris Charter School and all that we have to offer! We draw students from more than 15 different New Hampshire towns and we are a diverse yet close-knit community. Polar
is Charter School is a tuition-free chartered public school that offers our students an education that fosters interest and curiosity, with a move-on-when-ready approach. There is no push to keep up or wait to move ahead as we strive to meet children where they are. We also place a strong focus on building social and emotional skills within a project-based environment. As the Director of Polaris Charter School, I am honored to lead this unique approach to public education. We believe that social and emotional support and personalized instruction, combined with the passion of our staff, provides our students with an exceptional education. Yesterday, the Columba class shared their experiences from a recent community trip. They visited a bank, a florist, a bake shop, and a repair shop, where they participated in various activities and learned about the impact these businesses have on the community. The students enjoyed exploring the companies and gaining insight into their roles.

Today, Polaris welcomed author and former educational assistant Christina Briggs, who read her book "Don't be Scared Rigby" to the Phoenix, Leo, and Draco classes. Afterward, she engaged with students, answering their thoughtful questions about her journey to becoming an author. Christina also shared that her third book in the series will be released at Christmas.

Today, the Manchester Public Library bookmobile visited our school, and it was a fantastic experience! Every student could choose a book to take home.
It’s amazing to see how a simple book can spark imagination and a love for reading.

Today’s class share was brought to us by the Draco class! They taught us about the Draco constellation, which is best seen in July and is shaped like a dragon, complete with a triangular head. Each student shared their unique qualities, highlighting how they represent the scales of the dragon together. Like the stars in Draco, each of you shines your own way, creating a beautiful and diverse constellation! Great job, Draco class!
