Everyone make sure to wish John Stark a very happy birthday today! If you look closely, you'll see that we did indeed put 298 candles on his cake.

A banner hanging on the building is promoting the presidential campaign of Roosevelt and Garner, endorsed by the United Textile Workers, whose headquarters were in the building. Businesses in the photograph include the Temple Grill, Merrimack Fruit Co., Shea's, and Johnson's Candy.
