The Bookmobile will be at this year's Monster Hunt along Elm Street today, Saturday, August 29, 2026. The Bookmobile will be set up at City Hall Plaza from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. Everyone will also be gathering at City Hall Plaza at 11:00 am for a kick off. Families are welcomed to join in the hunt for a clay monster and take home a free book For more information, please check out Studio 550 Art Center's website

What’s Up in Tonight’s Sky? with the NH Astronomical Society
The Manchester City Library invites you to an informative look at our night sky with the New Hampshire Astronomical Society. This event will be on Tuesday, September 15th at 6:30 in the Auditorium.
Join us as we welcome the NH Astronomical Society for a discussion on What's Up in Tonight's Sky? as we prepare for a sky watch the following evening! We will discuss the planets, double stars, star clusters, nebulae and galaxies we will be viewing through the telescopes.

This presentation will be held on Tuesday, September 15th at 6:30pm in the auditorium.
