Friday’s Senior Clap Out was such a special moment at Perry as we welcomed back members of the Class of 2026! 🎓❤️🖤

Our graduating seniors walked the halls of Perry one more time while students and staff cheered them on with claps, smiles, signs, and lots of Falcon pride. It was a beautiful reminder of how quickly time flies and how proud we are of the amazing young adults they have become.

Seeing former Perry students return in their caps, cords, and college shirts inspired our current Falcons to dream big and work hard for their futures. ✨

To the Class of 2026 — congratulations! We are so proud of you and cannot wait to see all the incredible things you accomplish next.

A beautiful evening celebrating excellence at the Mansfield ISD Awards Ceremony: A Night in Paris ✨🇫🇷

Principal Erika Jackson joined two incredible Perry educators — retiring Pre-K teacher Liz Luu and Perry’s Teacher of the Year, Taffiney Simmons — for a special evening of celebration and recognition. ❤️

Mrs. Luu has poured so much love, patience, and dedication into generations of little learners, and her impact on Perry will never be forgotten. We wish her nothing but joy in retirement! 🌸

Mrs. Simmons continues to represent the very best of Perry through her passion, creativity, and commitment to students each and every day. Being named Teacher of the Year is so well deserved! ⭐

Perry is blessed with amazing educators who make a difference far beyond the classroom walls.

These students worked hard, stayed focused, and celebrated their achievements on the Class Assessment in a BIG way! We love seeing our students excited about learning and proud of their growth. Their energy, smiles, and excitement filled the office! 🥳✨

What a WEEK at Perry! ❤️🎬✨

We rolled out the red carpet for our VIP teachers during Teacher Appreciation Week, and it was truly one for the books! Our staff deserves to be celebrated BIG, and so many amazing community partners helped make that happen.

A huge thank you to our incredible PTA for providing Chick-fil-A and fun raffle prizes all week long! Teachers also had the chance to call into the office each day for our hilarious “Perry Radio Line” movie trivia contests (yes… it got very competitive 😂🍿).

We were also spoiled by our amazing community supporters:
⭐ First American and Texas Health provided breakfast for our staff
⭐ Mary Kay representative Sanaa Eddie provided relaxing hand treatments and gifted a teacher a beautiful basket
⭐ PalmerCare Chiropractic treated our teachers to breakfast and massages

Our admin and office team also loved on staff with:
🍰 A cake bar
🥤 Dirty soda bar
🍫 Snack bar
🧖🏽‍♀️ Spa packs
🥪 Catered lunch from Jason’s Deli

We are excited to celebrate our incredible teachers and staff at Annette Perry Elementary this week! 💙

Each day brings a fun way for students and families to show their appreciation. Participation is completely optional—simple, thoughtful gestures mean the most!

Here’s a quick look at the week:

⭐ Monday – Kick-Off: Dress Like a Star
Bring a card, note, or drawing to show your appreciation.

🍎 Tuesday – Flowers for the Stars
Bring your teacher a single flower (real, artificial, or even a drawing).

🎬 Wednesday – Snack Like a Star + Hollywood Colors Day
Wear black, gold, red, or white and bring your teacher’s favorite snack, drink, or classroom supplies.

✍️ Thursday – Autograph Day: Red Carpet Ready
Dress your best and bring pens, markers, or office supplies your teacher can use.

🍿 Friday – VIP Finale: Pajama & Movie Day
Wear pajamas or comfy clothes and consider sending a small gift, gift card, or heartfelt note to end the week strong.

We loved meeting our future Falcons last night at our Pre-K & Kindergarten Roundup! 🦅💙

Our newest students had the opportunity to tour the school, sign their Falcon contracts, and begin getting excited about the journey ahead. It was such a joy seeing families connect with our amazing Pre-K and Kindergarten teaching team—including a warm welcome to our new Pre-K teacher, Mrs. Hunt!

We are so excited to welcome this incredible group to Annette Perry Elementary. The future is bright, and we are proud to call you Falcons! ✨
