Mathis ISD Families!

Mathis ISD will be using a new app as a central place for school-to-home communication. When school starts, Parents/Guardians can use Rooms from Apptegy to stay connected with their student’s school through announcements, updates, reminders, and direct communication from teachers and staff. This app is accessible by downloading the Mathis ISD app from the Apple store or Google Play. This will take the place all the other apps used by our staff to communicate with families, such as Class Dojo Sports U.

You should already be receiving notifications via text, email, or audio calls from us informing you of weather delays, etc. Just note that this app is pulling contact information from Skyward. Please make sure your phone numbers and email addresses are up to date in Skyward in order to receive these messages.

Our goal is to make communication simple, clear, and easy to access in one place. We’re excited to use Rooms to help families stay informed and engaged throughout the school year.

Due to inclement weather conditions and flooding in certain areas, and in the interest of the safety of our students and staff, Mathis ISD will operate on a two-hour delayed start today.
All staff should report at 9:00 AM, and students will begin classes at 10:00 AM. Bus routes will also run two hours later than their normal scheduled times.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation. Please stay safe, and we look forward to seeing everyone today.

Mathis ISD Weekly Update

Due to weather conditions and flooding around our campuses we will have a delayed start. Students will report at 10:00 and staff at 9:30. Buses will start their routes at 8:00.
