Our largest Becoming ONE Relationship Conference in six years brought together people from across our community who are committed to building stronger relationships and healthier families.

The July conference welcomed 91 individuals, 25 fathers, and 22 married couples, all investing in practical tools to strengthen communication, deepen relationships, and create lasting change at home.

Thank you to everyone who attended, volunteered, and supported this event. Together, we're helping build stronger families and a stronger Memphis.

This week, Agape Child & Family Services was honored to host our Faith Leaders for Community Flourishing Lunch in Frayser. Bringing together pastors and ministry leaders committed to serving the community.

The luncheon provided an opportunity to connect, encourage one another, and explore how churches can continue partnering to cultivate hope, strengthen families, and create lasting impact across Frayser.

A special thank you to Pastor Mike Ellis for joining us as our guest encourager and for sharing his heart and vision for the Frayser community. We are grateful for your leadership and partnership.

Thank you to everyone who attended and to the churches that continue to invest in the people and families of Frayser. Together, we're building stronger communities through collaboration, compassion, and hope.

370 Backpacks and a Whole Lot of Love!

A massive shoutout to the incredible youth group at
Highland Church of Christ for dropping off 370 backpacks packed with school supplies for the students served by Agape Child & Family Services!

Our Agape Development Team made sure to celebrate their hard work with some well-deserved snacks after unloading.

Before wrapping up, the students and staff took time to write handwritten notes of encouragement and prayers for local students and teachers as they prepare to head back to class in just a few weeks.

We are so thankful to community partners like Highland Church of Christ who help our youth step into the new school year feeling supported and ready to succeed!

Agape hosted a Whitehaven PCN Faith Leaders Launch on 6/29 at Deliverance Temple Church of God In Christ. Thank you Pastor Hunt for hosting.

It was truly encouraging to see pastors and faith leaders come together, united in their commitment to strengthening our Whitehaven community.

That is exactly what this work is about. Leaders across our community linking arms toward a shared vision.

During this interactive session, participants will:
• Identify community assets, services, and resources currently available to families
• Explore opportunities for collaboration and partnership
• Strengthen referral pathways and coordinated care efforts
• Learn more about the Human Flourishing Initiative and Alliance model
• Discover how organizations can participate in Care Teams supporting individuals and families
• Contribute to building a community-wide network of support focused on long-term flourishing

For 25 years, Agape's Families in Transition (FIT) program has been a place of hope for women and their children experiencing homelessness. Through safe housing, compassionate support, and personalized resources, thousands of families have taken meaningful steps toward stability, independence, and a brighter future.

We're incredibly grateful for every life that has been impacted over the past 25 years and remain committed to walking alongside families for many more to come.

Education is the key to unlocking opportunity and building stronger communities.

Agape is grateful for an impactful day yesterday as we reflected on the past year and looked ahead to the upcoming school year. Thank you to Dr. Clark, Westside Middle School, and Frayser Community Schools for your partnership and commitment to students and families over so many years. We are honored to walk alongside you in this important work.

We were also privileged to celebrate the new Frayser-Trezvant High School at the Topping Out Ceremony. This new chapter represents hope, opportunity, and investment in the future of Frayser and Raleigh. Thank you to Dr. Richmond Memphis-Shelby County Schools - MSCS and your team for inviting Agape to be part of such a meaningful occasion. We believe great things are ahead for this school and its community.

Together, we are investing in education, strengthening communities, and creating brighter futures.
