Our MCP scholars showed up in their pajamas with a purpose as we celebrated “Wake Up Drug Free” Pajama Day during Red Ribbon Week!

We were excited to welcome the Shelby County Sheriff's Office for an important conversation about the dangers of drugs, making healthy choices, standing up to peer pressure, and knowing when to seek guidance from a trusted adult.

Our scholars were engaged, attentive, and eager to demonstrate their understanding of what it means to make safe and responsible decisions.

A special thank you to the Shelby County Sheriff's Office for taking the time to educate and empower our scholars! Our strategy in developing the whole child includes equipping our scholars with the knowledge, confidence, and life skills to make positive choices both inside and outside the classroom.

These are affirmations of who our girls are, what they represent, and the incredible young women they are becoming.

At MCP, we believe educating the whole child means cultivating confidence, character, leadership, and a strong sense of self-worth.

When we intentionally pour into our girls today, we empower the leaders, changemakers, and trailblazers of tomorrow. And we couldn't be prouder to watch them grow into their power!

We are back from Fall Break and jumping right back into the fun learning experiences!

Up next we have our Red Ribbon Week! Parents & Guardians please make note of the designated dress-up days for planning purposes. Flyers are also being sent home with your scholar.

The week ends with our Halloween Celebration. Details about what to bring and costume guidelines can be found on the flyer above.

We look forward to a fun filled week as we say NO to drugs!

We are empowering the next generation of girls who will lead, inspire, and change the world!

MCP proudly celebrated the induction of our scholars into Girls Run the World, an organization dedicated to empowering young girls to discover their voices, embrace their leadership potential, and become confident changemakers within their communities.

Through mentorship, leadership development, and civic engagement, these young ladies are gaining the tools to become the next generation of influential leaders, advocates, and community organizers.

We are incredibly proud of our scholars as they begin this exciting journey of sisterhood, service, and leadership. The future is bright, and these girls are ready to make their mark!

A strong start deserves a sweet celebration!

We were proud to recognize 158 MCP scholars for their performance during our first Fall NWEA testing round of the year. Nearly two-thirds of our school earned a spot at the Ice Cream Social and we’re just getting started!

A big MCP thank you goes to Conectiv Supply Chain Solutions and its customer, Skybound, for their generous donation of items to support our scholars!

These items will help stock our RISE Store, where scholars are rewarded throughout the school year for demonstrating the values that guide our school community: Respect, Integrity, Scholarship, and Excellence.

Every reward is another opportunity to recognize our scholars for making strong choices, working hard, growing academically, and showing up as their best selves.

We are incredibly grateful for community and corporate partners who choose to invest in our scholars and help us celebrate their progress. Thank you, Conectiv SCS and Skybound, for helping us continue to make excellence worth celebrating!

901 looks good on us!

September 1st hits a little differently in Memphis. 9.01 Day is our chance to celebrate the culture, pride, history, and hometown spirit connected to the 901 and at MCP, carrying Memphis in our name makes the day even more special.

Our scholars and staff showed up in their favorite Memphis gear and memorabilia to represent the city we’re proud to call home. Memphis is part of who we are, who we serve, and the community we’re helping our scholars grow to lead.
