🧛‍♂️-The Teen Vampire Ball at the East Bank Regional Library was a fang-tastic evening of spooky fun! Teens dressed up in creepy Halloween and vivid video game character costumes celebrated alongside ghouls, goblins, and monsters. They enjoyed festive face painting, watched the vampire romance movie Twilight, and feasted on lots of skull food and treats. The night was a monstrously memorable night! 🎃👻

🎃 - Last night's pumpkin carving event at the Live Oak Library was anything but a gourd-inary night!

🗡️- Armed with carving tools, patrons expressed their creativity and soon the tables were covered in pumpkin guts, slippery seeds, and enough orange goo to make a monster feel right at home! The carving quickly turned into a friendly competition of frightful faces. Even the pumpkins that didn't quite turn out as planned had plenty of personality with faces that looked like they just heard a good ghost story!

👻- Patrons turned pumpkins into grinning ghouls and everyone passed a gourd time, cher, and brought home a spooktacular pumpkin just in time for Halloween! 🎃👻

🗳️- Early voting (Oct 20-24 & 26-27) at the East Bank Regional Library offers patrons another opportunity stop in the library for children's storytime hour and creative craft events.

📕- Kya helped her mom go vote, and then they stopped by the children's department to read a book!

🎃🎨- Our homeschoolers painted festive colored fall pumpkins.

🍦- Come by to vote and check out a book, a movie and an ice cream maker (Library of Things)! The library has so much to offer!

Thanks to Callen for his great work as our Kid Librarian at East Bank Regional Library! Callen came prepared with a list of his fav reads and even included a cool shelf-talker explaining why he chose his books. Callen says, "My favorite by far is the City Spies series. I just love how these kids think of themselves as a bunch of misfits and weirdos and they come together as an awesome team!"
