đźš“ Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over
The Pinecrest Police Department is joining law enforcement agencies nationwide for the Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over Labor Day enforcement campaign, running through September 7.
During this period, drivers can expect increased enforcement focused on preventing impaired driving and keeping our roadways safe.
If you plan to drink, plan ahead. Designate a sober driver, use a rideshare service, or arrange another safe way home.
Our goal is simple: Zero fatalities. Zero excuses.

🦸‍♂️🚔 When superheroes unite, community is the real superpower!

Pinecrest Police Department’s superheroes were proud to join the Miccosukee Police Department for a very special celebration honoring 50 years of service to their community! 🎉

From 1976 to 2026, the Miccosukee Police Department has built a legacy of service, commitment, and public safety. It was an honor to celebrate this milestone alongside their officers, families, community members, and fellow law enforcement partners during National Night Out.

And of course, Captain America was on scene to make sure the celebration had a little extra superhero power! 🛡️💥

Congratulations to the Miccosukee Police Department on 50 years of service. Here’s to many more years of protecting, serving, and building strong communities together!

Pinecrest Police & Public Works: Working Together for a Safer Community 🚓🌳

Sometimes, improving public safety starts with simply noticing what needs attention.

While working near one of our schools, Pinecrest Police Community Service Aide Priscilla Brown noticed low-hanging tree branches obstructing sidewalk access and perimeter parking spaces used by parents, students, and staff.

CSA Brown contacted Pinecrest Public Works, and they quickly responded. Jerys, Roger, and their crew arrived, assessed the area, and got to work clearing the overhanging branches and restoring safe, unobstructed access.

It is a great example of how teamwork across Village departments makes a difference. One employee identifies a concern, communicates it, and another team steps in to get it resolved.

Thank you to CSA Brown for being attentive to the community she serves, and to our Public Works team for their quick response and hard work.

One Village. One team. Working together for Pinecrest. 👏

🦸‍♂️ Not all superheroes wear capes. Some wear a badge, and some carry a STOP sign! 🚔🚸

Yesterday, Captain Edison Cruz, Sergeant Mayra Oliva, and Community Service Aide Nicole Stewart of the Pinecrest Police Department’s Community Resource Team came out to welcome students and families on their first day of school.

Our team joined our dedicated School Crossing Guards to help everyone safely navigate those busy first-day drop-offs and crosswalks. Captain Cruz even suited up as our very own superhero, bringing plenty of smiles while reminding our youngest students that Pinecrest has a team of people looking out for them.

A special thank you to our School Crossing Guards who are out there every school day, rain or shine, helping our children get to and from school safely.

To all of our students, teachers, staff, and parents, welcome back! We hope you have a safe, successful, and SUPER school year! 📚✏️🛡️

đźš” Police Fleet Expo 2026

Sergeant Robert LaRicci is representing the Pinecrest Police Department at the Police Fleet Expo in Orlando, August 10–13.

The Police Fleet Expo is the nation’s only four-day interactive conference and expo dedicated specifically to public safety fleet operations, bringing together more than 1,500 attendees and 100 exhibitors.

Throughout the event, Sergeant LaRicci is attending training, meeting with industry professionals, and getting a firsthand look at the latest police vehicles, equipment, vehicle configurations, ballistic protection, storage solutions, and officer-safety technology.

For Pinecrest, attending PFE is about more than seeing what’s new. It gives us an opportunity to evaluate equipment and technology firsthand, learn from other agencies, and identify practical solutions that can improve officer safety, efficiency, and the way we equip our fleet.
