Today, MAH and our Thursday night dinner team want to say a heartfelt thank you to True Deliverance Holiness Church and Pastor Lendon Dennis for opening your doors to our neighbors on the third Thursday of each month for community dinner.
Since January 2025, Elder Dennis has welcomed our neighbors with kindness, genuine conversation, and a willingness to simply be present. That kind of hospitality means more than words can express. It has helped create a place where people feel seen, welcomed, and cared for.
With that same spirit of gratitude and respect, we understand that Elder Dennis is unable to continue hosting the Thursday dinners. Beginning in September, all Thursday evening community dinners will be held at House of David Shockley Hall.
We cannot thank True Deliverance Holiness Church, Pastor Lendon Dennis, and Elder Dennis enough for the time, compassion, support, and open doors you have given our neighbors and our team.
Sometimes ministry looks like a meal. Sometimes it looks like a conversation. And sometimes it simply looks like opening the door and saying, “Come on in.”
