Day 1 of Doors Open Milwaukee was a blast! We rappelled off of the building, played Bingo on tours, and learned about the rich history of the Milwaukee Turners - from our murals to our mayors.

We'll be here today until 5PM hosting tours of this (probably haunted) National Historic Landmark. (Rappelling starts at 1PM!)

Different pharmacies are selling NARCAN in Milwaukee for $30 (or more) for a pack. Good thing you can get the same product for FREE in Milwaukee County through the Better Ways to Cope Program!

The Milwaukee Turners have a Harm Reduction Vending Machine at the Historic Turner Hall that has FREE boxes of NARCAN, testing strips for fentanyl and Xylazine, gun locks, first aid kits, and more! You can access them during our gym hours: Monday through Friday from 5pm to 9pm and Saturday and Sunday from 9am to 5pm.

📢📢 Join the Milwaukee Turners at the Joint Public Hearing on the Mayor’s proposed 2027 budget on Monday, October 5 at 6:30 p.m. in the Common Council Chamber at City Hall (200 E Wells St).

Tell the Common Council and the Mayor that we do not want the MPD to be allocated any funding from the 2027 budget for Flock or any Automated License Plate Readers (ALPRs). We do not want AI powered warrantless mass surveillance in Milwaukee.

The Milwaukee Turners are looking for dedicated professionals to work with us in our part-time Peer Mentor role. Peer Mentors directly support individuals that are referred to us by the Comprehensive Community Services (CCS) program. Participants in the CCS program have been diagnosed with mental health or substance abuse concerns. Peer Mentors offer psychological rehabilitation services to individuals voluntarily enrolled in the CCS program. We are recruiting for part-time Peer Mentors to operate in Milwaukee County.
Applications will be reviewed until the position is filled.
