You love what we do, you love where we do it. Let’s make Turner Hall even better in 2026.
A historic community hub and event venue in the heart of downtown Milwaukee, Turner Hall’s mission has never been more vital. Our National Historic Landmark sees tens of thousands of guests every year, and our programs reach neighborhoods across Milwaukee as we continue to grow and show up where Milwaukee needs us.
The Milwaukee Turners are facing urgent costs to replace our broken ADA lift and address time-sensitive masonry repairs on the North and West facades of historic Turner Hall, designed by architect Henry Koch (who also designed City Hall and the Pfister).
We estimate that the total cost of these repairs is $70,000.
- Estimated cost of new ADA Lift and installation: $40,000
- Estimated cost of Phase I masonry repairs: $30,000
The ADA lift will help people who need assistance moving from the north parking lot entrance to the main meeting and restaurant floor to attend our forums, recovery programs, community activities and more. (The regular elevator is still in operation; this is a separate lift on the North side of the building). Phase I masonry work will address some of the critical structural problems that have occurred over the past 50 years, resulting in cracks in our facade and shifting keystones.
Your support will go directly to building repairs for historic Turner Hall.
