At Aeon, we act boldly to create and preserve affordable homes. Aeon is a nonprofit developer, owner and manager of quality, affordable apartment homes in the Twin Cities. Since 1986, Aeon has built, purchased or renovated more than 5,700 apartments and townhomes. These homes provide stability to more than 16,000 people each year.

Before Mary Hall welcomes its next residents, we're taking a moment to honor a century of service to Saint Paul.

Built 100 years ago in 1926 as the St. Joseph's Hospital Nurses Home, Mary Hall was created as a place of learning, leadership, and opportunity. More than 190 student nurses lived here while preparing for careers that would strengthen the health and well-being of our community.

As Saint Paul's needs evolved, so did Mary Hall. Over the decades, it served nurses, healthcare workers, and community members seeking stability, support, and a place to belong. Through each chapter, one thing remained constant: its commitment to serving people.

Today, we're preserving Mary Hall's historic character while preparing it for its next chapter- creating homes, fostering community, and ensuring this landmark continues to serve Saint Paul for generations to come.

For 100 years, Mary Hall has adapted to meet the needs of its community. We're proud to help carry that legacy forward for the next century.

Jama moved to Minneapolis in 2001. For the past 25 years, his Aeon apartment has been the backdrop for his family's biggest moments: newborns brought home from the hospital, birthdays, graduations, three of his seven children earning college degrees.

When he recently moved to a larger unit, he said: "There is a lot of history in that building. It's been home."

As we celebrate Aeon's 40th anniversary, stories like Jama's remind us what home really means — not just walls and a roof, but the place where a life unfolds.

Last Thursday, volunteers from U.S. Bank spent the morning at Aeon’s The Rose, helping refresh the property with some much-needed mulch and outdoor care! Thanks to their hard work, the grounds are looking better than ever. A huge thank you to the U.S. Bank volunteers for supporting our community and helping make The Rose shine!

🐾 Community care in action! On May 19, Aeon’s Parkview Villa partnered with the Animal Humane Society to host a free pet care clinic, helping 36 pets from 27 families access the care they deserve.

We’re excited to continue supporting residents and their furry family members at the next clinic this October at Sienna Green!

Recently, Aeon residents enjoyed a fun-filled evening at a St. Paul Saints game thanks to the generous support of the Saints! From baseball to community connection, it was a wonderful night for everyone who attended. Thank you to the St. Paul Saints for creating such a memorable experience for our residents!

More than 400 community members, advocates, partners, and supporters joined us yesterday morning for Aeon’s Beyond Bricks & Mortar breakfast - and together, raised more than $400,000 to support affordable housing across Minnesota.

The morning was a powerful reminder that safe, stable housing changes lives. Guests heard inspiring stories, reflected on the growing need for affordable homes, and celebrated the momentum being built through community partnership.
