The Young Entrepreneur Showcase will be back again on September 19!

Join us to empower our youngest business minds to run their own small business on September 19! 💼

Youth ages 5-17 are invited to showcase their creativity at the Young Entrepreneur Showcase by selling handmade products, offering professional services, or sharing their business ideas at the National Maritime Museum of the Gulf. Plus, participants ages 14-17 can compete in a pitch competition for a chance to win prizes! 🏆

From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., you may also enjoy live music, face painting, shopping and fun activities for all ages.

🚨 Road Work Alert 🚨

Beginning Monday, June 1, and continuing through Tuesday, June 2, temporary traffic detours will be in place along Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue from Plum Street to Lafayette Street for asphalt paving operations.

The detours will occur only during active paving operations and will not remain in effect for the full day. Motorists are encouraged to use caution in the area and follow posted detour signage.

🚨 Road Closure Alert 🚨

Beginning Monday, June 1, 2026, a portion of Magnolia Grove Parkway will be closed for approximately 2 weeks for drainage improvements and road repairs.

Residents in local neighborhoods will need to take detours from either Schillinger Road or Moffett Road.

Golfers visiting RTJ at Magnolia Grove golf course will need to take the detour from Schillinger Road to Lamplighter Drive to enter the golf course.
